1 way to prevent spamming BLM spells is to do what they did in FFXI, have the Mob build up a resistance to element being used. The bigger the spell, the bigger the resistance built.

Healers will learn to manage their spell casting the first time a Mob breaks off the tank to slap them 10 different ways to silly because they spammed cures

As I mentioned in another post, I'm fine with wiping on current content at the level cap. It makes sense in concept and practice. I also like to run people through content if they want to be run through content. People already struggle to get the minimum 4 person requirement for lv35 Ifrit not because people go "oh, I'm lv50 so I'm just too much for that boss". It's because people don't or can't take the time to do so. It's a stepping stone to a bigger story.

What this does is try to turn the stepping stone into the goal of the f-ing quest, which is not how it works. The small time stuff is small time for a reason. And if you eventually leveled past it, you do the content to see it and move on, because there's other things to do as you work towards the level cap.

Again, I'm up for wiping on hard mode Garuda or Nael. I'm NOT up for wiping in Shposhae or Totorak.

QFT. I think how they have it now works really well. The story-line fights/missions/quests are uncapped and can therefore be completed easily if one levels past the recommended level (ideally wouldn't even have a party size requirement), but the Hard modes have strict requirements on party size and/or levels. This allows for story-line progression for everyone at their own pace, but sets aside more challenging fights/better rewards for those who are always looking for a challenge.

I really don't like how they are putting level caps on everything story progression wise and lower level dungeons.

The one guy said he didn't like it how people would do Ifrit and Ifrit was already dead before the cutscene. It was hard enough already to find 4 people to join.

This seems a lot like CoP which everyone seemed to hate the level cap zones and when a new player wanted help most people would not bother to help at all because they seemed to hate level caps. Eww I don't want to do that its capped. If I can't find people to do the story missions the solution was to out level it go back and do them.

Here's the solution to your problem.... get a decent LS and they will help you, I got through CoP with LS help, got sea and beat Promathia, there are always people that need this level capped content if you can't get help find people to static it with. Take CoP again, most people who cried they couldn't get help with it were the people spamming shouts, or spamming LS chat for help, when they could have easily done a few shouts in Whitegate and got a static going, or start from the beginning of the story and get people who haven't started or were stuck on prommys.

There was a lot of ways to get CoP done, people were just too lazy to do the legwork.

the funniest part of the entire video is where they mention latency problems during ifrit fight then admit its not just a EU/NA problem that JP players where having just as much an issue w/ it. lol

This is not XI you don't have to shout in town for hours looking for ppl, also will not need a ls for it. We will have cross server content finder so there will always be someone to do these contents with. You wont have to find help you will find people who need it as well.
