it surprises me people actually buy gil in this game, its ridiculously easy to get, too easy, if you get a good system down you can literally max out your gil. i know a few people going for this personal achievement.

xi on the other hand, when you got 500k, you had 500k! you could spend it on anything and it would really feel like you just spent 2 weeks savings...

This had been going on Sadly for a while now but it may seem that these RMT are not being banned at all but SE do ban RMT's daily i myself am from limsa so i see alot of rmt's being made it just seems SE is doing nothing because of the sloppy random names the RMT's are giving to the PC's unlike ffxi where most rmts had some kind of name be it a rather crappy one so you did notice these RMT's being banned. you have to remember also SE cant ban people without them breaking the ToC this isnt breaking these terms since all they are doing is leve sharing if so all PL party's would be deemed RMT activity its when they pass on huge amounts of gil,bot NM's advertise gil selling websites etc when SE can hit them with the ban hammer if SE did ban these players on the soul purpose of "There name looked fishy so they must be RMT" and banned a normal player in the process they could face legal action sucks i know but we all should know by now where there is money to be made in MMO's there will always be RMT's.

That's what I REALLY hated on FFXI is that there wasn't a good way to obtain gil in the game. I only have around 200k or so gil left on the game and I really need stuff, but I don't feel like spending it :(
