Many people here just need to stop playing the game. If you are already dooming at some cryptic yoshi speech about 8.0, that they probably haven't even worked on yet and is still over year away, you might need a break.

Now that ffxiv hit that peak that will never return again, and when they should just try to keep existing players playing because the game can't grow more than this, they have no idea what to do. They need to hype a bit those ungrateful players in order to sell that sweet expansion with some smoke bomb or two. I endured three expansions of this shit show. No jobs getting major rework, no 8.0 for me.
