I called it Aetheryte Shards back then to make it sound more 14 like, but look at the similarities. I've only been suggesting this since Beta 3 though. :P

Come on, no chance. Materia system belongs to FF VII.

First off, keep the materia name. I love it and from what I am seeing alot of others love it. It adds more of a Final Fantasy feel to it. Secondly thank you for implementing it so that DoLs will be gathering the Materia catalyst. A lot needs to be done to help bump DoL classes up and I think this is a good start.

As far as removing money from the economy there are tons of money sink potential out there, you just need to start implemented them

Actual MATERIA would be nice not just naming boring crafting elements after it. MATERIA would be so much cooler to harness than XI's equipment boost system that is way too complicated.

This is all great I love it and yes name it "materia system"...and please add an Auction House because no matter what you do to the wards they will always be second to an AH - right now all this is telling me is that you guys are pushing for the Market Wards so you can start charging for retainers eventually.

Materia System, HECK YES!!!! I think that is a beautiful idea!!! I also think that, if they leave the name materia, you will have a crap load of people return to the game JUST because of that. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. <3<3 <3 Im excited for this. When can we expect to see this implemented?
