Of course casual pvpers exist, which is why solo queue should stay the way it is so the fun for them isn't ruined by a burst dps + ninja combo. Which can clear entire teams in seconds.

And yes people want to play with friends, me too! I feel like SE should anyways introduce arena like pvp. With 2v2 or 3v3. That way smaller teams and friendgroups can also group up.

It's almost like you dont know how niche the PVP is in FFXIV, what you suggest would kill it entirely. There are not enough players for what you want.

You are really saying a lot without saying anything at all. What effect exactly would have premade queues on solo queues? The solo ones dying cause of whatever reason? The concerns that got voiced by others are either stuff that i never even wanted or things you contradict with your own statement that CC isn't dying atm. Which is totally right, i am 100% with you. So there is no reason why we can't have group queues separately from the solo ones.

Way to be a dick for no reason mate. For what it's worth, I agree with stormpeaks take on this one. Splitting up the queues will just create long wait times that will just escalate further as time goes on.
Casual players will see the queue, get discouraged, and then think it's dead content so they'll stop doing it. Not everyone will have this reaction obviously but it would still be enough to do more harm then good.
And just because it's "isn't dying" doesn't mean that's a good reason to add more queues. You want a game mode to be high in population of you wanna expand, not just not dying.

I love it, the cocky, rude attitude. If anyone needs to read maybe its you.

PREMADES will make solo queuers NOT QUEUE because CC will NOT BE FUN FOR THEM. They won't go out and make their own "premades" just to have fun in CC. They just WILL NOT reque, and do something better with their time. Group queues, CANNOT BE SEPERATE from solo queue, because there won't be enough people queueing into it. Is that simple enough for you to understand? Do you need a visual aid to come with it? Check your elitist attitude at the door.

And again, your source for this statement is the same as stormpeaks, just a "just trust me bro". You don't know if that change wouldn't draw more people to pvp, when they can actually do it with friends and that without ruining everyones fun, lol.

I find it hilarious how you jump into the breach, talking about something that was never the topic of this thread like you need to defend some trolls honor. You talk and talk about solo being ruined, solo not having fun. Solo wouldn't even be touched in that hypothetical scenario. It would be the same as ever. And for some people that is what they want but others maybe want a bit more coordinated matches that aren't as chaotic.

Maybe you should leave your assumptions which are based on nothing at all at the door. But as i told already stormpeaks, you push this thread and make the problem PvP has more visible. So that is a positive for me.

And solo would 100% be affected. There would be significantly less people playing it as a chunk would switch to premade.

If they tried doing this from the beginning when the content was new and actually booming, then I would be more incline to agree. But not at this point.

I made a suggestion which is somewhat backed up by all the people feeling the same way. Those who would want to play with their friends. Those who want to actually play with people on their level, be that good or bad. So they don't have to deal with the chaos we have atm where you get either stomped into the ground or spawncamp the enemy team without anything between. There are players who would like this change. Ofc there are also players who wouldn't like it. That's just normal and not every content has to be for every person.

But what you guys and stormpeaks are practicing here isn't making a valid argument, it is hysteria galore with assumptions you make out of thin air. Queues will be dead. Where do you take that from? Do you have any valid sources for your arguments? Anything at all? You fellas just spout out nonsense about how something might maybe under some circumstances happen for sure but you have literally nothing to back that up.

And you know what is the worst part of it all? Your points are based on the unhappiness of players, you want stuff to stay the same cause otherwise people wouldn't queue for solo you say. That's a whole lot of assumptions mate. I never said any of what you just mentioned. I didn't put any thought into what would be a good solution but in no way does that mean I'm ok with how things are right now. My response is based on me not believing your fix would work.
And we can use how feasts turned up as an example of what ranked looks like in this game.
