The Seraph city experience can be... unusual... for those not used to it. I've had a few interesting encountering while in Seraph Limsa trying to reach people in the hunt community.

Considering the game mostly takes place outside of the cities, I don't see that as a reason to be unhappy on a world. Just don't hang out in the cities.

Queue times I don't know about yet. I've spent most of my time helping get the hunt community organized and rolling, and the rest getting my various characters settled in (apartments set up, inventory sorted and items on the marketboard etc). I'll get a better idea of that once I'm working on MSQ for my characters again.

Would love a crossworld linkshell I cap my alts with hunts for the most part.

Just for reference sake. Lucky Bancho's latest census put Balmung and Mateus at 34,000 active characters—nearly a full 10k higher than most of all Aether servers, and more popular than every single Materia server combined. NA has been absolutely bursting and could have actually used the fourth DC. Oceania is, sadly, something of a failed experiment.

I can't see them moving a whole server to OCE though. That'll upset far more people than it will benefit. It also doesn't work as they discovered with Crystal. They had to repeatedly lock out Aether to stop being from flooding right back to their preferred DC.

Would love to help if I could but but I'm down to a single cwl with room left and I'm trying to keep it reserved for late night/early morning players (though you're more than welcome to join it if that's when you're playing). We've asked Centurio about the possibility of setting a new role that can handle cross data center train relays during the off peak hours since trains at those times tend to be rare. They're looking into ways to try to set it up.

Best bet is to ask around for a cwl if you attend a train or S rank. Otherwise, we're encouraging everyone to use either Centurio Hunt or Faloop Discords for relays. We're trying to make certain relays go out on both since the NA data centers have been split between using them.

It was the same for Materia for a while until things settled down.

Everyone's just socializing and not actually playing the game. Things do improve, Luckily Seraph has access to other DC's to go do content.

So far I'm enjoying the new DC far more than Materia, See how things go, just glad i can DC travel to Aether to PVP/Raid

Seraph = Extroverts & Limsa group concerts (I'll admit I got stuck at one for a whole hour just buying from their MB)
All 3 of the others = Introverts as suspected.
It's quite nice on Maduin. Halicarnasus seems to be the more popular introvert lair with lots of DOH/DOL stuff happening.


Anything is better than Balmung (My 1.0 server) & Mateus (Biggest server move mistake Ive made)

I wonder if this pronunciation is "Mad Win" or "Mad, You In" - I think it's "Mad Win" based on Penguin, Harliquin, and many more.

The "You In" only seems to be there in Ruin, Bedouin, and Bruin.

It was in other FFs but not voiced far as I know lol

One of those however you like ems, like Ifrit, I cannot for the life of me stand to call him e-freet. Almost feels like we're demasculating the poor thing.

Which were you aiming for? Were you the sole bidder on a nice one, or taking the chance in round one for a rare one?

I picked up a nice medium in LB, so am very happy for a residence while I am on that DC helping my FC members who moved.

My neighbors are lovely and friendly, and seemed very happy to have their various homes. A lot of good community spirit in the ward after they won.
