New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

that's because they copy/pasted the hair from the Roegadyn frame (the Frame they altered to make Hrothgar) and called it a day apparently.

And you're absolutely right, if they wanted to do a good job they would have.

I'm going to just draw some hairstyles and post it & get feedback from our disgruntled folks- I hope it gets traction

This is clearly an April Fool's joke cuz it certainly got me laughin this morning. They should just delete Hrothgars honestly. I haven't played too many MMO's but I've never seen such failed race as much as the Hrothgars. XD

Naaah... they actually are very proud of their work , so why would they use modders when they can do this , then say how hard they was working for last few years ( in their free time ) just to deliver us this quality piece of work . i got a good laugh out of this, and then just felt extremely bitter and disappointed that i wasted almost 3 years waiting for them to fulfill their promise to fix Hrothgar.

Well, reading it like that maybe it's a bit harsh haha

I do think they take player feedback, but when it comes to things like making new race-locked hairstyles I definitely don't think that's ever in the cards again no matter how much the community asked for it.

Hopefully they'll see how people are responding to what they showed though and if they can't do anything to fix them, maybe at least give an explanation why they settled on... this.

I really hope they make the ears appear and clip on release day and say that those images were april fools jokes... they literally have the perfect excuse. I haven't seen anyone be positive about the state of those hairstyles.

For the love of god just let the ears clip, it looks really bad especially with how the Snow hairstyle accounts for every other race that has unique head features.

i have, but in a super copium kind of way where they are defending the developers and not the hairstyles.

I'm just..honestly confused and a bit baffled by what they call hairstyles. There are limitations yes, but even then these are a poor excuse of what they could come up with. I wouldn't have minded if we had less options if the hairstyles were more polished and actually had some thought put into it, but these look like they were just ported over and when the ears didn't work, they went "oh well, let's pretend they were hidden under the hair". The dev team usually does amazing work and I'm really looking forward to 6.1, but this definitely deserves criticism.
