Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

hopefully in 6.0 they resolve the issues. Rooting for you all.

I know it’s probably wishful thinking but I really, really hope that they retrofit some of the hairstyles for viera, and this will be one of them. The 2B hair is the perfect length I want for my viera. ;-;

Also just remembered something: the tank/drg hat from the Nier raid this patch works on viera/hroth. I don’t know how it sits on Hroth but on viera it sits and looks very similar to the little quaintrelle hat. So if any of you (like me) liked that hat a lot and have those classes leveled, fyi!

Honestly, like you all I just want one of two things to happen:
1. Either tell us what's going on by sharing a roadmap of the plans for Viera & Hrothgar for hopefully near future.

OR

2. Tell us STFU- We are not doing anything Veira & Hrothgar are staying as they are so we can stop holding on to false hope.

As someone who works in development- this is just poor communication. We are considered stakeholders and should have some sort of progress update. And there is no shame on if the work can't be done stating it.

I am not picky- I don't want all the hair of the other races magically granted to work ( though would be nice), I don't want to complain about how older hats in game dont work. ( though they should). I just want Information about what is being done if anything at all. And if nothing is done or is planned to be done I would like to hear that as well. At least then I will have an answer!

Though I will state is pretty poor to release a whole expansion and several new hair styles specific to the expansions and not make them wearable for all races- but that's a different soapbox.

Please just COMMUNICATE!!!

These were my feelings exactly. It's also the last straw for me. At this point I am beyond frustrated with the lack of hairstyles and helms. I can understand the time it would take to change old content but excluding two races from content cycle they were released in is lack a slap in the face. I mean lets drum up excitement for two new races in Shadowbringers then quietly never work on them or mention them again. As soon as I get the 2B hairstyle, I'm switching races to be able to actually enjoy all the content the game offers and not just everything below the neck.

I really want more hairstyles for my Viera. I finally got my dream race, don’t neglect it SE!

Bumping for the megathread promotion! I've been reading the comments on the smaller threads for months, hopefully this will get some attention. OP, you might find that the title format MEGATHREAD: Viera and Hrothgar Issue Discussion might get you more attention with the devs. Or I could be completely off base. I don't even know if you can change the title of posts once you post them here... But in any case, I hope this megathread catches on!

Replying to add my voice to the choir. The current selection of hair Viera have at the moment wouldn’t be as bad if half of them didn’t contain accessories/armor. I like the pigtails but hate the flowers that I’m forced to wear. We can’t even have the small amount of things we have access to without having to accept the dumb embellishments that don’t match a lot of styles.

I kind of like the flowers, but it depends on whatever glamour I'm using at the time so a toggle would be ideal.

It's not even like they're there to mask a non-existent hair tie, there's a regular hair tie under the flowers.
