Stealing aggro'd mobs in a "kite" - do you think this is against ToS?

I have been involved with this argument more than my fair share and I'm still under the impression that the majority anti plvling folk are ones that are not able to get into said groups or leveled all classes to 50 pre plvling and there for dont want anyone else to either. Cant really blame them for feeling this way because they just want people to play with or feel everyone should put in just as much work as they did with the old horrendously slow leveling system (or simply people that enjoy tedious level grinding).

I prefer my friends to get up to 50 asap to experience the only real content the game has to offer. Yoshi already stated the games focus was going to be endgame/high level content. Why make people wait a year to experience it all. it is just my opinion and im not gonna be swayed. Im not trying to sway yours either so lets not turn this into another powerleveling thread.

6 webs to make 3 dew thread too! And if I want to make Velveteen it's 3 dew thread/3 cotton yarn for 3 velveteen cloth. I guess I got spoiled in the "old days" of getting 12 dew thread per 2 webs.

There are multiple camps in Nophica Wells. No reason not to share.

the worst camps by far are the ones for karakul fleece. SE needs to add more mobs that drop these. Im currently lvling wvr and everyday I go out farm fleece and every day, every camp is taken, no matter what time it is. And with the server merger on the horizon its just going to get worse. And frankly I cannot pay 6-7k per fleece to lvl wvr or even to make things after Im high enough. Its just not worth it.

You would think with such a high demand for a item used in nearly all high lvl wvr synths they would make it slightly more available

Gotta go with the majority on this item. If its unclaimed, there is no violation (as far as I know). However the way you go about it can affect how you are perceived, and there are usually alternatives.

With that said, the minute you go from competitive play to "look how annoying I can be!" is a change from competition to harassment and griefing.

I think I need to test this theory in the coming days.

It's an MMO all experiences vary. Expect the unexpected...That line is more used with players abusing the system...ie botting, gold selling, and that sort of thing.

For instance you can say a player RPs as a pirate that runs around and harasses people and becomes notorious on the server for that. It does not break the terms of service. They are a nuisance but they are part of that servers unique RPing experience.

What if you can make a red mob go yellow again by getting aggro and running it out of it's area to force it to reset? Is this stealing or just clever use of game mechanics?

As it stands now, stealing mobs is much easier then XI.

I think what your meaning is, if someone does that trick and you come in and steal, no its not against TOS because they were unclaimed. But yes there is a fine line between competition and griefing.

Best bet if you wanna be nice
A - Ask if you can join in and leech the loot, in return you put away your weapon
B - Is there any other camps nearby
