1) There is a difference between content and stuff to keep people busy just for the sake of keeping people busy.
2) There are a lot of people out there already who have already done most of the things you have listed.

Thats kind of my point, lol. To complain about lack of content despite having never done these, seemed farsical to me.
That being said, I agree that the completionist list is nearly attainable at this stage, even if none has done it yet.
I'm just stating the fact and like others have said it's not what the average gamer cares about.
Any way you cut it or slice it, XIV has barely a drop of content and we need a lake.
patch will always come when its finished. i pretty sure they been working their arse off to do all these. sure it got delayed, and people got bored. but it can;t be help. predicting the patch day on the timeline is just a guide. its like weather forecasting, how accurate can you predict a date few months before the actual patch day? They aren;t robots or fortune tellers or anything that can predict accurately. when things happen, they update us via letter or forum posts. I for one glad they communicate with us every now and then. The timeline outlined more likely could never be exact, but it be close to it as they always try. what's the use if they release it now when it's not totally finished/fixed or with serious bugs? Just wait abit longer, am sure news will come and patch won;t be that long more. =p
This. Everyone says, keep yourself occupied by doing speed runs or clearing other achievements ect.
Well heres the thing, the content is EXACTLY the same, the only difference is the approach on how to clear it.
To say that clearing mog within x amount of time makes the content any different to clearing mog at regular pace, is just ignorance. The fight is still the same, it's just done in an organized fashion.
Please don't confuse content with achievements. They are not the same.
It's the same convoluted approach with Primal drop rate's timesink.
SE seems to think that lower drop rates = more difficulty.
All jobs have been revealed. All new skills...photos of job gear...lots of posts on the forums official posts already. We all know pretty much everything coming in this next patch. 2 dungeons, disciples of the hand fix, jobs...uh what more info do you need. Patch notes don't need to go out b4 release. It's not like anyone REALLY READS them...every time there's a new patch out and people go in game and ask a million questions anyways.
So if you are going to really READ patch notes maybe they'll release them early. But as it is...I haven't seen that to be the case.
What do we know about the Cutter's Cry?
What do we know about The Aurum Vale?
What do we know about Job Quests?
What do we know about Hamlet? (Was Scheduled for 1.21 but now 1.22)
What do we know about Job Attritubes and the greater role they will be playing?
What do we know about the new NM's?
Photos/Previews of Skill's and Armor has been minimal at best.
In my opinion, we have never been left in the dark more closer to release date (Patch was scheduled to already been released).
Especially considering the size of this big one.
This thread has turned into a White Knight cavalcade.
How utterly surprising...
Um...it's a game...why do you need to know everything?...should SE give you an entire strategy guide before every release?
You can't just take it as it comes? Like when it comes out you'll have 2 months to mess with it before the next patch...so why get all tizzy?
You'll probably start whining of boredom 2 weeks after it's release anyways...cause you finished it all.
