I think it depends on whether Zenos takes the long game or peters out inside of a patch like the WoD did. the second could refer to him as well. I'd rather it refer to us, but it could refer to him.

Well, We each have our own preference of what sounds epic, hence the words “to me”. If I remember correctly ,the titles have been used in the in-game text and when I came across them the tile just made sense to me.

1) Reference to Dragoons (Kain in Dissidia shouted Heavensward! when he used his Pride of the Dragoons EX Burst)
2) Flying mounts

Shadowbringers might refer to us going to the moon and/or the ascians who are the opposite of the WoL (Which are "light bringers", also the ultimate sword in FFXI was called Lightbringer)

Shadowbringers does leave things up in the air though, which is always what this game needs more of.
