If you actually wanted your criticism or ideas to be taken seriously, you'd have started with a list of ideas that you think would have made the event better, not dropped an insult about lack of creativity and "the best they could do."

I think a water gun fight fate would been more fun. where have to beat pirates with water guns and force them back to there ships.

I wasn't a fan of the fates with 300 people doing them so you had to fight to finish them, but at least there was the chance to do them when things died down. I'm not good at jumping puzzles in this game. I've avoided them all up to this point. So I'm disappointed there aren't alternative paths to finish the event and unhappy I will have to spend money on the Mogstation next year to get things I was interested in getting from this event this year. I don't find this year's event very inclusive at all.

Really? Are we complaining on a seasonal event now? OP you do know the last tower is optional? The other 2 is just jumping between plattforms that was very easy and I'm someone that really suck at these mini games.

Platforming in MY MMORPG? It's more likely than you think.

Anyways Once you finish it the first time its pretty easy to get the hang of.

I'll take it over fates that you can barely get anything on cause of people rushing it.

Well that's a tall accusation. They even went as far as to offer two ways to get across some of the challenges, so you can pick your fancy. Then you can also have someone carry you across on a double seated mount. And that's if, after the week or so the event's been here, you haven't been able to complete it yourself.

I enjoyed it. One of the things I quite like about FFXIV's seasonal events is that they're different each year.

Gonna admit that I groaned the moment I saw it was a jumping puzzle, but was pleasantly surprised that the difficulty was on par with the gold saucer platforming rather than the abomination that is kugane tower.

Overall I had fun and will gladly take stuff like this over seasonal fates.

yeah, I groaned too. Idk about fun...I mean, ten minutes and you are done, unless you like the advanced course on the back of the tower. But it's pretty easy just to ignore that course if you don't like puzzles. I do wish they had a little more social aspects; the jumping is mostly done solo and there isn't anything to do otherwise.
