Guess If they do plan on adding Samurai with this expansion it will be Tank. Guess I can go into this expansion dissatisfied. RIP excitement for me. Time to cry myself to sleep.

Not entirely. I'm still on the "Ivalice is NOT on Hydaelyn" boat. If anything, the Void is up to its old tricks again. Ivalice is massive, yo.

Not directly connected as much as we will have a version of it in 14. This is already the case as many of the locations in FF12 are referenced as territories currently under Garlean control.

Altima and zalera are so similar...I mean a lot of FFXII summons are like cousins of the original FF summons (belias and ifrit for example). Still, great to see the "return to ivalice" even if it's not 100% ivalice, it's going to be a return in some way. They wouldn't make a logo just for name reference.
