Gath suppored the logic of his original post with a comparison to XI's bard. He presents facts from the recent class revisions table in the form of the abilities bard will have.
There's not much for facts in preponderance, which is what the original post was. He was just wondering how bard works, and for some he actually provoke a tiny bit of discussion. (as seen on page 1 of this thread)
Although some people just can't get over his persona, on some level its obnoxious but deal with it, hes another human being and hes entitled to speak how he pleases. Now if I recall your first response to this thread had nothing to do with the OP, but rather to jeer at Gath's persona.

I like how this game is putting Bard into a position i recognize.
EQOA bards weren't just awesome buffers, they were awesome DDs as well. Infact they were pretty good soloer's as well since they had high Heal over time and mana over time buffs.
Seems like they are going to allow it to be aa DD and buffer that's awesome. Always thought bard was kinda of lame in XI casue all they did was buff. -

Gath runs a website directly in contact with the ffxiv community, his gil, is worth more than yours or mine put together. In fact, he opened this very thread for discussion. It's your own fault for being offended by language, which is an ignorant thing in the first place because every has their own way of talking. Interpret it anyway you like, he just started a discussion on bard.
And on that note, I'm done here. Self indulgence is one thing, but a real nuisance is when people complain about shizz that doesn't even matter. -
