The next step in video game character creation. Instead of having gendered base model, have an ungendered model that starts flat with sliders to build the gender look you want.

So since this was revived, let's me share something with people, that they can never unsee.

First, someone did confirm Au ra have nipples. But the more important thing is this.

Lalafells not only have nipples, but pecs too... let that sink in. And to add insult to injury. Lala nipples and pecs are part of the texture mapping, not the model, like the other races. So once you see them you can unseen them, lol.

Perhaps male nipples are a human thing, and these fantasy races simply don't have them.

It's kinda weird. I mean, on one side yeah, it's probably just their cultural view of nipples (how often do you see male nipples in anime?), on the other, Highlanders already kinda have them, they're just not...painted.

Female Hrothgar would definitely never happen, then.

They talk about issues with hats now, just wait until they have to start designing chest items to include multiple pieces to cover everything!

Jecht from FFX, Snow from FFXIII and Gladio from FFXV were all designed with their nipples proudly on display at various points in their respective games, so it doesn't seem to be a cultural thing so much as a specific hangup that whoever designed FFXIV's male models had.

Just use Scylla's robe of casting/healing from Syrcus tower, it's pretty much perfect.

Male nipples aren't always the solution to things...

Remember when they added nipples to the costumes in one of the Batman movies?
