1800 esoteric is not that bad, if the information are correct... i means if you do your dailies you can get as much quite fast. but i will hold until see what the people will bring as information after the server is up.
but i feel it's kinda dumb to make the relic a 230 when this next week for most person they will have earned a i230 weapon with the lore (that will be upgradable at some point)

let's be honest the grind of anima is too heavy right now for motivate people doing it from now... do gather the stuff is kinda insane, either they reduce the number of item needed for finish the anima part or.... increase the speed we earn the part for it.

because like said, next week most people will have a lore weapon.... and at worst, it take 7 week of easy grind to earn one... when even if you do the same level of grind with an anima you can't hope get the i210 counter part.

i get that they are trying to give use stuff to do, but one more time, they fail to notice that most player don't play only one jobs... make most of the farm take 11-12 week is kinda sick.

and about the player that only play one jobs, they are not the norm... it's them fault to miss the point of the game. i don't see why they continue to give us farm that will reach countless week for earn stuff.

i will take the example of the craft/gatherer (that are about the same principle used for the relic) it take 12 week for equip in redscript one jobs... but for the craft and the gatherer you generally use multiple jobs... no one will only have one gatherer or one crafter... it's the same for the war and magic counter part... no one play only one jobs... make a grind duration exceed more of 7 week for one jobs.... is a bad design since no one is really playing only one jobs anymore.

Well, even though I dunno if/when I'll ever finish one of these 3.x relics, going back into a 24-man raid for something that isn't Void Ark will feel refreshing, to be honest.

Well 1800 per oil. So 9k eso. Still a fair amount that'll take all but the most insan- I mean, uh, dedicated players a few weeks. Plus the Anima weapons are, for many jobs, considerably better (see the Bard example -- crit/det >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ss/det). Plus they're overbudgeted in general, which is always cool.

it is not that bad. 5 Weeks for my weapon since esos I use for ikone materials

There aren't many jobs with better relics than the lore.

If it's just that, with daily roulettes, hunts it's done in a week. Here's for hoping.

So with the roulette bonuses you have 260/9000 per day. Add in dungeon bonuses (80 and 20/40 depending on the dungeon) and you have at best 380/9000. That means that, assuming you do the roulettes for 7 days in a row you have 2660/9000, meaning over the next 7 days you'd need to run Amdapor or Antitower 80 extra times to get it within the week. Assuming you stocked up 2k eso before the patch came out, that'd be down to 55 additional times. Add in the CT weekly, and at VERY BEST that's a "mere" 32 additional runs of Antitower or Amdapor City hard.

Have fun with that. I'll keep my sanity and get it in 2+ weeks.

I haven't kept up too much with the meta for healer jobs, and their secondaries kinda come down to preference (except scholars who love crit).

So the list of people whose anima is better than lore is:
Bard, Monk, War, DRK, PLD, SCH. 6/13 objectively better, and 2/13 where it's iffy (ast is crit/pie vs ss/pie, and whm is det/pie over ss/pie).

Less if the CT weekly does give out Aether Oils.

7200 eso + CT series over 1 week, 5400 eso + 2 CT series over 2 weeks and 3600 eso + 3 CT series over 3 weeks are actually fairly sane grinds for this stage.

Yeah I think I'll try to get the weapon casually as well, served me well in getting Hvergelmir and Deneb. (currently gunning for Majestas, thought getting that will be slower considering the Eso loss in making the other two hyper condunductive)
