PvP - Do we really want this kind of thing in Final Fantasy?

There we had PvP in the past! stop complaining!! if you don't like PvP just don't participate... it's so easy...

What just because you don't like Mc Donalds if you see someone eating Mc Donalds burger you gonna go up to them and tell them to stop eating because you don't like it? You would just F'ing ignore and just walk away... same stuff...

Completely false. PvP has never and will never be the central focus of WoW. It always has been PvE and will always be PvE with a healthy dose of PvP for those who like it.

um... FFXI had PvP also... you expect XIV to not have it? lol

I'm all for the tournament style PvP, could easily work.
World PvP I'm not sure only cos i would want to know how they plan to do it, as we can all visit each city state, unless they send us to war with each other but that seems unlikely.

Just please for the love of... can we stay well away from PvP based gear that is anything but different looking crafted gear or maybe alters but not really better stats on it.!

Ballista was awesome, i not talking about the 1 vs 1 shit you see on videos or the "booking ballista" diorama or something...

When i say ballista im talking about the 2005-2006 era, where you had 35 vs 35, it was intense.. i usually play at midnight cauz thats when JPs play and they coordinate and strategize unlike.."omg 300tp... im going in".

All about NINJA BLACKMAGES getting into enemy area with invisible, go behind them, SLEEEEEPGA, then the cavalry roles in. Its about SAM/RNG with soboro.. chasing down and killing!!, Its about being scared of galka Monks with massive HP! and soo many more.. out of my 7 years.. i went to ballista almost everytime sans LS event.

The PvP is by choice if you decided to do it or not that all that matter's is you the player have the choice to participate or not in PvP not forced to! Also I'm pretty sure Yoshi even stated this fact and given example picture's his view on PvP I sugguest and revisit his thoughts and views on this subject I take the man by his word's not others.

I'm not a massive fan of PVP but I think it would be good for the game.

I would like the OPTION of PVP in the game, just for extra content. I think an arena style competition could make for an effective Gil sink and pass time. Even a specific territory that is kind of a "savage land" where PVP is a free for all would be interesting to see.

PvP Mini games would be interesting Of course we cant have blitzball, but something Recreational friendly would be nice. not all PvP has to be violent to make some poor sod(s) feel insignificant.
