36 hours into the patch and I don't see anyone doing dungeons or pvp (35 minute+ queue for frontlines). That's why I don't like hunts. Letting people catch up on gear because they can't/don't do FCoB, that's fine and dandy. Having a huge portion of the player base do one thing for a few weeks, meanwhile people who want to do anything else get "does it give allied seals?" every time they might ask someone to do something else, is kind of bland. Since hunts give soldiery/and in the case of S ranks, poetics, why not just add allied seals to dungeons/pvp? It would give people multiple options of achieving their goal. Wanna run a dungeon for seals and you're a dps? Just wait in the queue and spam hunts while you wait. Long pvp queues? Do hunts in the mean time. Wanna just spam hunts? Enjoy!
Assuming that people don't like hunts because "scrubs can get gear" is a little off at this point.

They used to die rather quick. Now they die even quicker, due to the player base being much more equipped than they were. SE forgot to tune the hunt mobs with consideration to this. If you didn't have a chance before to get credit due to them being downed in 20ish secs, you have no chance now since it seems to take like 10-15 secs.
I hunt casually. It's crazy out there.

I don't really mind the hunts getting the help. They kind of needed cause on many servers they were dyeing out. Not all the way but nowhere near like they used to be. As for mobs dyeing in seconds. I agree and wish players would hold more. They were being polite and holding. What happened all a sudden to that? I guess more players means less politeness. I don't know.

got my augmented body piece from hunt today for like 4 hrs
full i130 is gonna be so easy

I don't understand why Hunts cannot work like treasure hunts. You do your daily just like a normal hunting log, then for special targets you get a kind of whistle or something like that to make the mob get out of its hiding place.

I haven't got an static to do fcob to access this items so I'm pleased with this decision and I'm sure I'm not alone in this one.
NOW, the way people approach hunting is terrible . It's just a game . If it bothers you don't do them and move on. No need to go on and on and ON about it.

Still really dumb that you get the best gear in the game from grinding hunts. Hunts is such a horrible system, and I have no idea why they thought to give twines and coats from it.
I hate that coats and twines come from CT, but hunts is another step... sigh.

People are doing them. SE is just baiting the community so hard with trash content and most are falling into it. Not SE's fault, SE's actually playing their cards well...this community is the one failing xD. It's becoming very apparent how easily manipulable masses are.

I think they did it a bit backwards here. They should have made the Twines and Coats avail from ST and Hunts from the get go. The purpose of this Ironworks stuff is to gear up to be able to enter and win in FCoB. The gear in FCoB should be like 10-15 iLVLs better than augmented stuffs and be the best. That way you really have something to show for what you did and there would be no QQ from raiders about it not being exclusive anymore. Them putting it in hunts after many have trudged long hours to get them from raiding, somewhat invalidates the time spent earning them. Do it the other way around, so we all share the same "struggle" of upgrading. FCoB will still have the challenge, gear doesn't equal the skill needed to beat it, though it helps. Even with the gear and echo, some cannot pass coils. I know I have been/ am currently there.

What really makes no sense is that hunts offer catbontwine when the weekly CT quest does not... Who the hell thought that made an sense at all? If they offered twine in the weekly at least some of the people feeling forced to do hunts to progress would be able to relax a bit.
If anything the hunts having no lockout should mean they offer less than the CT weekly, not the other way around.
