Obscure references

I certainly get some of these references, but I'm the kind of player who actually cringes rather than smile at the very moment I realize it's a pun.

Still, Clever Girls and a couple others made me chuckle once.

Once.

Theres a DOL leve called dreams of war, dreams of liars, dreams of dragons fire. It made me happy to see it, but no one else got the reference in my friends. :(

I still love the blm achievements titled "Bring out your dead". Made me laugh waaaay too hard the first time I got it XD

Even earlier, they escorted Tera in the start of FF6 and were throw away side characters in FF4.

A couple of my favorites so far:

- Matoya's broom that loves bridges talks about "big bridges, little bridges, bridges made of rocks..wide bridges, narrow bridges, even bridges with pigeon flocks" (something like that) in reference to an OLD Armour Hot Dogs commercial jingle talking about kids loving hot dogs "big kids, little kids, kids that climb on rocks...fat kids, skinny kids, even kids with chicken pox love hot dogs")

- There's a quest in Thanalan where they say something like "beasts to the left of me, monsters to the right, and here I am, stuck in the middle with Master Lou" which is referencing an old Bob Dylan song that says "clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, and here I am stuck in the middle with you."

At the moment, I chortle a lot over the FATES in the Churning Mists. I think everyone one of them is referencing something, but the two that stick with me are 'Aevis Has Left the Building' and 'How to Cane Your Dragon'. 'Wake Me Up Before You U'ghamoro' drove me insane because I'm really not a fan of Wham, it took me weeks to down Titan Ex, and I had the damn song running through my head as soon as I logged in and saw the quest title.
But I do love the amount of thought and effort that gets put into this

My favourite has to be "Wake Me Up Before you O'ghmoro". It's the little nuggets of comedy gold that make me love this game.

Obscure reference to an obscure reference. It was also the #1 "mini-tune" in Demolition Man.

I'm also playing the French client and I'm glad there are still some references and stuff too. Probably less then english but it's nice they added some.

It also says "I like big bridges and I cannot lie" at one point.
