In memory of Codex Vahlda

Just read the article on Kotaku and got teary. It's just so amazing how everyone joins in the vigil. My condolences to his family and friends.

Saw the article on Reddit. Having seen a lot of shitty behaviour on the forums and ingame, it's nice to see something that reminds me how amazing this community is. I just wish it were under better circumstances.

I'd like to start off by saying that this is a terrible loss, and I want to send my deepest condolences to Codex's friends and family. The loss of a loved one is hard, especially at the holiday time.

I feel like I know this person and just had a random question to ask. We had a player that used to be in our Free Company on Balmung named Codex Aluuran that recently was going through something similar that my wife pointed out, as she had him as a friend on instagram. Does anyone know if he used to be on Balmung?

After doing some investigation this is the same player. I am deeply saddened. He was a good friend and a good player. He will be deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Codex. Though I did not know him, the feeling of losing someone you love is not foreign to me. I was unable to make it to Excalibur's vigil last night, but I offer a Flame salute in honor of a fallen fellow adventurer.
