This is more than likely a bunch of kids doing this because they think it makes them look cool. Honestly, think about the time it's happening. Half of Western Hemisphere is in bed.

Well, there is something that can be done to stop it. Patch the vulnerable systems. But just because it can be done doesn't mean it will be done. So your argument is still valid.

Are they still happening right now? The attacks? Because I havent been able to log in. Though it could just be my ISP too. Hard to tell right now.
