It's almost like there is a fan festival in less than 2 weeks. Could you possibly for one second consider that just maybe they are saving the big reveal for the massive in-person event? That might be expecting too much though.

I have a feeling the big reveal will be the expansion and nothing else. I'm still hoping we'll get some nice surprises in 2.4, but I have a feeling they consider Rogue/Ninja to be the "new type of content" of this patch. I would love nothing else than to be proven wrong though! =)
Am i the only one who thinks some ppl never reads the whole posts?
that's exacly what i said... but well, good job, you seem very clever...
Ok i could have said "for now" or "it seems" in the first sentence, but i expect some comprehension and reading skills form the players in these forums...my bad.Quote:
... but well, there are 1 and may be 2 LL before the implementation, they may be saving something good for the first fan fest...
Renik, you're opening statement could use some serious work. Making such statements as "Got to say this is the worst patch since the launch, only nin saves it from being just a minor patch." tell me you've already made your decision regardless of that little bit acknowledging the fan fest. So yes a "for now" or "it seems" would go a long way.
You got me there, fixed.
I use to make my statements with out any information on how i reached to that point, but i can tell you i don't talk without knowing, unless i'm misinformed, i don't think they will add something else to this patch, because as i said they have been oddly quiet about it, we will know in 2 weeks or more if they don't announce a launch date in the first fanfest LL.
from my post on the second page.
It's not at all odd when there is a series of large public events coming up where there will be thousands of fans present to hear the information first hand. This isn't Pax or Gamescon where they will be there for other games. Everyone present will be there specifically for Final Fantasy XIV ARR. Them holding this kind of info back until that event isn't even remotely odd. If anything it should have been expected considering the timing of the event and the patch.
