Did you read those patch notes? I've not seen such a comprehensive patch since the early days of Rift. SE earned this one.

To be completely fair, we've had problems post-patch for like only half of them, and every time the problems were resolved in a timely manner. I know even bigger games (looking at you, Riot) that have problems every single patch and tell people to suck it up and wait until the next patch before fixing issues.

You are welcome to follow your own advice, but I think y're just venting. As many have stated this is the expected norm and "accepted" by the majority of the community. Since it's mostly going to be the "hardcore" crowd that are trying to get in immediately. Most subscribers will be at work at this time and will not notice the difference.
