Odin mount or go home
personaly i love having a mount for each job/class, ie: Coreul for MNK, my 1.0 Goubbuee for BTN, so ive had some ideas that would be great
1:Crab mount for FSH
2: a giant Mandragora mount for ALC
3: Fenrir for SMN
4: a Snurble or sheep for WVR
5: Wyvern for DRG
others ive toyed around with in my head where Sandworms, Tarui <taruses? idk>, wolves, a toad resembling the tiny ones from FF XI even a giant plush moogle head.. <don't ask lol> some of which could be craft able for said DoH ;x or given from a easy but lengthy quest, or even some alternate ones < ex: a white coreul like the ones you fight in treasure hunts?>
I actually think the goats(?) and antelopes in this game would make good mounts.
But more importantly I'd also like to be able to ride my unicorn like a princess.
Can we get a feet equipment called Strider Boots? Equip'em outside of dungeons and you get the movement speed of mounts. :D
My list of mount demands:
Dodo
Slime (Cmon it's so..... moist)
Diremite
That flamingo wannabe bird north of Costa Del Sol
Apkallu
Karakul
A bouncing ball like those yoga ones (imagine a Lala on it... yeah! Or that episode on South Park where they legalized weed n criminalized KFC..... XD)
Powerwheels... Nuff said
Aldgoat
Magic Carpet
Roegadyn (I want to be just like the Sultana!)
Cloud (FLYING NIMBUSSSSSSSSSS)
Beast tribe people (To the victors goes the spoils, I slayed your primal I own you now!)
Natalan Wolf
Gorgimera
Fish
Mermaid
.... Siren
>_> Those are my current demands.
More than new mounts, I want an option to choose between sidesaddle and astride riding poses, for all races and genders...or for the choice of pose to be toggled based on your current class/job. I play a male Miqo'te, and he looks pretty silly trying to ride astride in Mage gear (face it, that Vanya robe might as well be a dress!). On the other hand, a female character riding side-saddle in plate armor looks just as bad!
The entire point of that method of riding is to accommodate a rider wearing a skirt, so it would make a lot more sense this way, as well as cut down on ugly robe-clipping.
Armored Beast from the Final Fantasy XIII event.
