Yesterday I healed another player while I was doing the Amalji quests because I saw that he is struggling to get him down before he dies. I tend to just heal people instead of blasting the enemies away for them. After he killed the enemy he did not say thanks but yelled at me for not helping him to kill the enemy. Didn't feel rewarded that much lol but I will do it again next time for sure.

One of those lower level dungeons, don't exactly remember which one it was, with an alt i jumped in as replacement as arcanist just to find out the healer and tank are gone and I was left alone with another dps.
Instead of leaving and requeueing i had my carbuncle tank, dps doing his job and I healed us through. Felt good!

Queued for duty finder, ended up in Pharos Sirius. Immediately the tank asks us to kick her because she got the place one time before and failed, and she's never completed the dungeon before. Guessing her last party wasn't nice about it. I reassured her that I'm confident our party can succeed, despite the healer also being a first-timer. Sure there was at least one wipe for each boss but I explained the mechanics and never yelled at anyone for messing up. Instead I said not to worry we'll get it right next time. And surely the party ended up beating the boss. That experience was worth much more to me, and to the rest of my party than any possible negativity that could've come out of that.

I saw a shout from a random asking where Wind Shards are.
I shouted back the location (for gathering).....he didnt understand. I found him nearby and had a conversation where I explained gathering (as well as Market Board, and his guild NPC - he was Weaver).
Obviously english was not his first language, so I kept it simple, and lastly did a trade with him, to help him. I have loads of Wind Shards. I gave him 300 in trade....he gave me a bunch of grapes. LOL!
He went off to do so weaving with his shards and join a gathering guild.

I passed a healer wristband in ifrit EM to somebody because I already had allagan wrists. Although the ifrit wrists were slightly better because of the det stat (mine had spell speed), his healer was his main too, so I let him have it.

Made free gear for FC mates, helped a random group of 2 do a fate by adding players to my party so my chocobo healer could save their life. Showed a new botanist where node locations were. Helped a group with hydra. Did free melds for a PuG chocobo leveling and spirit bonding party. Lowered my melded gear prices on the market board.
