Which, shockingly, is content that appeals to certain groups out there. Especially those who liked the Primal NM and HM fights and want something more challenging to sink their teeth into. Just like HM dungeons and PS appeal to people who love running dungeons. I, for one, was very much looking forward to the addition of both.

I'm glad your happy!.

I think the complaint is that instead coming up with a new monster or person to battle all they are doing is regurgitating a primal they already have two battles on adding some new mechanics and calling it content.

Just my guess.

When you start to criticize people for having fun in the game with its content, you're already beyond any sense of redemption. Either continue being common fodder (continue paying to play something you're not enjoying) or wise up and stop doing something you don't like. There's no true sense of an in-between with people like you.

Rehashing content isn't "new" or "exciting"... it's recycling. It helps liven up old and discarded dusty boring content to update it a little and make it fresher.

It's not something you should be doing or having to do with the first content patch... and if you do- don't count rehashing some instances as new content.

To the OP- Yes it's incredibly dull. They make new instances with obsolete gear in them. It makes no sense. We finally get a raid that was supposed to be in at launch and it is 4 easy bosses, not in the CT. The Moogle fight is great- but primals and Moogle have been around since the 1.X game- that is not new or innovative. Even the "new story line" content was so bad, imo. I mean.... not that smelling good isn't important... but come on...

I guess I will go sulk in my room in my FC house- oh wait.

1.0 launch you had a similar crowd responding the exact same way, "quit. unsub. we won't miss you". Three months in, the servers were barren... everyone jumped ship. I personally think it's a little too soon to call this a successful relaunch. If the devs refuse to take a few things into consideration, such as content difficulty and itemization, I fear the game will be a ghost town once more. Cautionary tale really.

A lot of the staunch defenders fail to realize that the "perceived" complaints are in fact serious suggestions and critiques, coming from fans who would like to this see this game succeed as much as the next person.

I'm enjoying myself for now.. we'll see how it goes in a week or two. I know quite a few people who switched from a 90/60day plan to a 30day.

That's all well and fun but the relaunch of FFXIV was based off mass opinion polls not the 1% locusts. While they might listen to the locusts after the game was created, a lot of the problems found in 2.x that weren't in 1.x are thanks to the vocal majority, not the minority. I know that's rather off topic to the post, but that opinion article you posted doesn't match with this game. :)

Edit: Nor does it take into consideration people who played the game for nearly 2 years and were dropped right into a 'new' (so to speak) MMO with a pre-existing character fully leveled.

I really dislike people like you. You are so easily entertained.. The hamster wheel is enough... You haven't done the same effing boss in hardmode sooo..... yea lols..... This is the reason why mmo's are trash in general now.

Yea I'm really bored of this game too. There are so many different things they could add to this game... and i don't mean stupid dungeons or primals. This is a mmoRPG.. but i just don't feel it. People are epeens. Not much exploration can be done, all these invisible walls. These quests are lackluster to lore, especially the holiday events. They give you tidbits of here and there but nothing really interesting and all FATE based... Woohoo... Can't really roleplay, Emotes are soo limited. Can't do /sleep? wtf? Houses but only for your FC? dam.. Pvp is a joke.. I think the pvp in dungeons going on is better. It's almost 2014...February coming up soon... not fast enough but surely, I just hope they fix this game because at this rate, the hamster wheel strategy is going to piss many people off.

Not even the fact that this is a "Final Fantasy" title is enough to keep me logging on. I'm having more fun on Pokemon Y. It has a lot more stuff to do than logging on to get allagan/myth tomes and or lvl every @$#%ing class to @#$$ing 50. aka hamster wheel.
