This is how you sound. Tanks who charge for runs are the worst kind of people, and I refuse to play with any of them.
Need to put lock outs on over populated jobs.

That's all fine and dandy but unless for some reason you can't find people in your own server, or you're undergeared, finding a team for anything other than Titan HM is really easy. -

This would mean the distribution is pretty much perfect. About 2x as many dps as there are tanks and healers. Considering 4 man is designed to have 2x as many dps as tanks and healers, that works out. I believe (while not always formed this way) 8 man is supposed to be 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 4 dps, so also 2x as many dps as the other 2.
To the OP, as others have said, simply no. There are limits to what people will allow to be forced upon them, especially when they are doing something for entertainment.
On another note, the only major jerks I've run into through DF, have been tanks. However, unlike a lot of the posters in this thread who assume all dps are derps, jerks, and too unskilled to play tanks, I don't make the ridiculous assumption that because I've run into jerk tanks, then all tanks must thereby by jerks and idiots. When I go on a run in DF, I let the tank and healer decide if they want a speed run. When we fight groups of mobs, I do my best to stay on the mob the tank is on, although this is sometimes difficult depending on positioning if they aren't marked, but if I notice I'm on the wrong mob, I'll switch targets. I'm also geared well enough to tank a single mob without help, and will occasionally purposefully pull one off the tank if I notice he's really getting beat up and the healer is having a hard time keeping up (this is of course with players that are on a lower tier of gear). I also recognize for a tank who isn't in the same level of gear, it is hard to keep aggro from a DPS with relic, so I will either hold back, switch targets, or do what is necessary to manage hate. I will let the tank know, if I pull hate off of him because of my dps, it's not intentional, but it's ok and I will tank that mob so he doesn't have to spend his cooldowns pulling it off me, and then not have them if he needs to pull one that goes for the healer. Not all of us are idiots, not all of us hate you, some of us just don't want to play your job. I don't. I also don't care if I wait in DF for a tank. If I'm in DF, it's generally because I only need one run and most FC members are doing something else at the time, or I feel like it, because I enjoy helping people. -

I rarely get instant queues when playing my WHM or SCH, but I still get hired sometimes to heal anything from WP speedruns to Garuda Normal mode.Quote:
