[Feedback] Wuk Lamat's English Voice

Wuk Lamats Voice Actor's Acting, is Dogwater. Yong Yea for example who i Generally like, did a Horrible Job voicing english Kiryu, not that any sane Person would Play Yakuza in English.
The criticism is not against the Person but the Job that was Done, at least not from me.
the Character as a whole is Ass, the voice acting is just the last nail in the Coffin of a Terrible Character.
Dont Hire Amateur's for Big main Cast Roles.

If her parents (or family members) are Puerto Rican, it is possible that she grew up bilingual and could have an accent. Portuguese is its own language and is not a dialect of Spanish. The Spanish they speak in Puerto Rico is a Caribbean variant with Canary and Andalusian influence, hence why the accent of a Puerto Rican will sound different than someone from Mexico, Spain, Columbia, etc. The only point I made when I made my original post is that her accent will sound different as she's Puerto Rican, not Portuguese. Then it turned into some silly argument about her being from Kentucky. My other point still stands: You can still be Puerto Rican and from Kentucky.

I think she's fine overall but she doesn't seem to be able to scream or yell naturally. Which I don't know if it's due to the direction or uh... natural constraints.

Personally I don't think people should blame poor writing on the VAs. And IMO it's 99% poor writing and 1% subpar voice acting.

I enjoyed the voice work of the expansion overall. I actually liked hearing American accents in the fourth zone. It just felt so... ahh... comforting as an American.

But man, the story is just terrible. In fact I think the writing was just a huge waste of the VAs' efforts.

Yea, honestly i enjoyed the expansion immensely and I don't feel Wuk Lamat detracted. The start did feel rocky for sure, but on the whole really awesome character work all around. And while I do hope the new writers get the chance to improve, they comported themselves well for their first expansion.

Worst VA in the game, I am sorry.

Like, my wife is of italian heritage, lives in Brasil, and I don't expect her to have a Mario accent.

Americans have always been big ones on claiming they are their heritage when they're most definitely not, as a person who is distanced from both Europe and the Americas, i will always say to the face on an American claiming they're French, Scottish, Chinese, African, German whatever, No you're just an American. 9 times out of 10 these people get some level of culture shock when they actually visit the country they purportedly claim to be of.

you do realize puerto rico is a territory of the U.S. right? and, that puerto ricans are U.S. Citizens?
