I ended up making one myself because it doesn't exist, but it's way too small.
And since it was so much trouble to put together, I can’t even bring myself to redo my interior...

The lighting setting needs more options. I absolutely need at least 2 increments between the zero and 1 settings. Maybe a lighting slider? I want my light fixtures to glow but the room to still be kinda dark.

I would like this too but for now, I turn off the lights and have lamps and such spread so that it achieves something similar to have that mood lighting one would have in the evening after winding down for the day.

Solution 9 housing wards, more solution 9 housing themes, and so on. :)

Please allow us to dye 'Chair Hena'! It's a very nice looking chair, but the inability to dye it makes it a much more difficult piece to work with.

An option to Mirror a housing item would be really cool, I think, even if it was limited to housing items without text.

Though I would much prefer mirrored textures to be made for mirrored housing items' texts as well, allowing all housing items to be mirrored...

That said, I would really love to see them expand dramatically on apartments. Give us upgrades like the Tardis housing they're proposing so we can have up to a large apartment. Or some near equivalent. I would personally go absolutely crazy over an apartment I could eventually upgrade to a penthouse style suite with multiple floors, rooms, and an 'outdoor' area where I could have a pool or put some furnishings down or something.

If they're not going to give us a housing plot on our islands... at least give us this.

This, like why was this not a thing from day one. What pea brained person overlooked such a basic and obvious thing, there are sooooo many items that would look amazing with certain designs and layouts but because you can't mirror it, it's useless and takes away from the aesthetics.

Even if I did you guys would rather give them up to housing bots rather than take a small. And then complain that bots are buying up anything players don't want.

It is nice we usually get more flowers for flowerpots and vases (and ornamental accessories crafted by Alchemist) every major patch, but I would like to see more related things like ...

Additional regionally-styled flowerpots and vases aside from Gridania's Glade, Ul'dah's Oasis, and Limsa's Riviera like... Ishgard's Highland, Kugane's Hingan, Old Sharlayan, Thavnairian, etc.
The ability to disable the sparkling effect on bloomed flowerpots for better visibility and appearance.
Flower prints for all available graded picture frames. The flower print art briefly appears when the player harvests flowerpots, but sadly does not appear anywhere else outside of that. I would absolutely love to see them as picture frame prints as a new option to decorate walls with aside from only sightseeing log paintings.

Adding onto this, an item to allow us to freeze/preserve a flower or garden crop's state (maybe taking it out before it is done growing using a special item like shears or such?) would be great. I feel like it'd be relatively easy to add since the models for each growing stage already exist, and we'd be getting 4 "variants" of each plant!

Yes, I agree this would be nice to have as well. Having different pots of various growth would give more options in decorating!

I'd love to see something like this big vertical crystal added as an indoor item. I was trying to make an underground area with some crystal formations in the walls the other day and realized there's not a great way to do so currently.

Please separate the fence from the house itself when remodeling the exterior with the newer house skins. I understand the house itself being one item since it could lead to all sorts of awkward holes and nonsense, but the fence? Please let us use any fence we like, they don't even touch the house! q_q I had to sacrifice my favorite fence to use the newest cottage skin when it came out, and I still miss it to this day.

I would love Tuliyollal and Solution 9 housing interiors with the new design system! Alongside the additions of 'Tuliyollan' and 'Alexandrian'-style foundational furniture (Pillars/Partitions/Windows/Doors), based on existing architecture like the For'ard Cabins and Solution 9's apartment complex.

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I'd like to chime in and request for housing exteriors be given the option of being made reversible/mirrored. My FC recently acquired a medium plot in The Mist (Plot 31, 5th Ward) with an outstanding view of the ocean on the west side of the estate. The east, side, however, directly faces the highest wall of the entire ward. Unfortunately for us, many housing exteriors have unique features on the left side (east side, in our case) of the exterior only. For instance, the Medium Cafe Walls feature the cafe on the left side. Likewise, the forge in the Medium Forge's Walls is on the left side. The hot tub in the Sukiya-zukuri House Walls is on the left side, and the garden shed on the Country House Walls is also on the left. An easy solution to this would simply be to make the exteriors reversible upon request, as it would have no impact on the placement of the house within the plot. I'm sure my FC's particular plot would not be the only plot to benefit from this improvement, and it would also add visual variety to housing wards.

This should have been our first sign they did not care, just the simple that that they made houses that require specific directions for things to be placed and no way to actually do that.

I would love to have glamour mirror item for Housing.

They really should have mirroring, for this and other things, like character hairstyles and such!

But if this is somehow “too much” to do for housing, maybe they could do something similar to what they did for Island Sanctuary buildings: allow you to rotate your house within its boundaries so the front could face any of the 4 sides of the plot. I love that the Country skin has such a cute back porch, but I feel bad for those who have a big wall behind it.

Tacking onto that, it would also be nice if you could move your house to any point on the plot and align your door directly to your garden gate. Maybe some people would prefer to have a backyard instead of a front yard, so they move their house forward or shift it left or right (if there's enough space to do that).

That would be ideal… like maybe when you use the building permit, the orange square for the house appears and you can place it within the yard and then it puts the house where you placed the square.

The only issue I see is that you could technically place the house in such a way that it’s right up against the opening of the fence, but they could just make it turn purple/unplaceable like it already does for furnishings it doesn’t like the placement of.

One thing I really love about Elder Scrolls Online is the ability to put mounts and minions anywhere on your property. Granted its a much different system with giant yards on some houses, so I dont think mounts would be realistic. Minions I think could be though. Island sanctuary really got me missing that feature.

They could make a few options for us to place the house when we build it, to make up for the entrance variation and to prevent issues like this. It wouldn't be perfect in the sense that it wouldn't be fully free for us to do whatever we want, but I think it's a pretty good middle-ground so the devs can make sure we're not going goblin mode and messing everything up lol

I'd like to see some updates to Mannequins. First off, add a female Hrothgar option. Second, could it be possible to add some more poses, like idle stances with weapons drawn? It's hard to make the weapons noticeable if they're just sheathed all the time.

Being able to hide their names or assign them custom ones would be great too. Nowadays, they're used as weapon displays glitched inside walls most of the time, so maybe having one of the poses make it easier for players to do this would be really nice. Some weapons are easy to display (whatever goes on your back) but everything that goes on your hips or has an awkward angle is basically impossible to display without showing the mannequin,

l fould LOVE to get update where mannequin display not take retairner selling slot what are only 20 mean l want just display my cool gear not to sell it

like separedated system where display use you retairner storage and when you sell stuff using mannequin then its start to use those selling slot

Actually couldn't they?

The models already exist they can restrict it to the mounts we do have, and allow us to place a stationary mount in the yard with like a glamour/permit hybrid in its idle animation.

Not 100% sure it works because I can't remember and can't check right now, but place something in the mannequin and then remove it from your retainer's selling/showcase list? The item should persist in your house, I believe?

Yes, I have a mannequin or two in my house that the gear still shows up on but it's no longer in the retainer selling inventory.
