I'm not gonna make a big deal out of this, but by this logic, healer, tank and the other dps wouldn't know which sword you, as a caster gonna take down because you could be standing anywhere within the area. So either they need to drag their feet away to you after you've killed the sword, or they kill another sword their ways which is closest to them (they failed to so that).

This reminds me a lot of one BLM in xeltaphol that won't stack and died to the stacking damage mechanic because noone bothered to stack with the blm that stood so far away from the boss, or the blm didnt even bother to come to us despite having manipulation..

Oh my god. Tried Bard in Feast last night. I've been mostly healing, got my Goten and Raigo on AST, Wolf in White Robes II, working on my Gloria Ignition Key, and last night our team had 4 healers so I switched to BRD, which I've been meaning to try, quickly set up my pvp skills, and went in.

5 kills, 0 deaths, 9 assists on my very first try. ...then I had to go in as tank for the rest of the night. But oh man. I cannot wait to Feast as a Bard again.

I'm a caster as well and can solo take down a sword if need be. You know which one I attack? The same one as the rest of the party. You know, to support and coordinate with the other players in the instance.

I thought the whole reason for Trials of the Matron was to fix the problem where some group members wanted to battle but part of the group took off to gather. This way birds of a feather can get grouped with like minded folks.

It works out best if the boss and players can stay near the middle to allow more time to run to safe area during boss AOE. This also makes the middle sword the logical one to take down since everybody is already there. Not to mention it is easier for a group of random strangers to understand, "Kill the middle sword" as opposed to "Find the one I've targeted.

your gcd means ZERO if you wipe the party cause you refused to move. its like a mnk pulling a boss to avoid losing stacks. ill let them die cause its not their job to pull. Its your job as a dps to work WITH your team not attack the one you feel like

I have to share a glorious City of Mach run I just had. Party was balanced, our tank was the MT, had a few casters, a few melee, and a mch. My healing buddy was another ast, and I'm pretty sure he was the best buddy I had in a long time. Things just melted away, obliterated into the void. My buddy was on noct, I was on diurnal. No words were needed at all. We mainly did aoe cards and watched out for eachother. He would start his aoe balance and I would wait with my arrow ready. As soon as balance fell off, I tossed out my arrow, and we kept on like this the entire time. I watched over him when he went for the balls at Ozma, and he had shields up the entire run, we both dps'd a lot, it was a dream. Some died, it was unavoidable, but we got them back up very fast, rebuffed and shields up. There were cards just everywhere. I got out with 5 comms, quiet sure he got the rest, he definetly got mine.

If you read this Ezekiell, my little lala buddy, keep on the good work, it was truly a pleasure :)

Just ran Titan Hard mode for some poetics. Party fell off so it was down to me, boyfriend, and MCH at 25%. We get Titan down to 15% and I tell MCH to LB. She doesn't. Boyfriend and a few party members tell her to LB. She doesn't. We weren't sure if she spoke English so boyfriend checks for her language and it was French. He suggested that sometimes when French people call for LB, they type "baguette". In a fit of desperation, I take his suggestion and I type "BAGUETTE" all in caps and she LBS at the exact moment.

Afterward, I asked bf where he learned that from (I took him seriously) and he said he was joking around. Pretty sure LB was a just a funny coincidence.
