MEGATHREAD: Requested Hairstyles & Facial Hair

Details have been posted for the contest and if I’m reading it correctly they are choosing 30 winners

30? Looking at how long it took to get the previous winners and runners up in the game I guess he was serious when he said he wants the game to go for another 10 years. :rolleyes:

I want Great Lengths but with bang

I like how they include this. Why even pick 30 winners if you're not going to implement them into the game? Also please don't pick ALL SHORT hairstyles this time, please give us some long hair winners with nice bangs, no more big foreheads. and Venat, Isayle, Hilda, Nanamo, Ryne and Gaia hair please like Rikizza suggested.

No AI entries allowed! Thank goodness! The templates are a bit weird, though. They ask for front, side and back views, but the templates only have two models. It does say you can provide additional images if your design doesn't fit on the template, but it's weird that they didn't include all three positions in it in the first place.

I was also looking at that where some are not going to be implemented...what is the point? I hope they choose something that is long with face framing side fringe. I love braided hair also and anything like Hilda's hair.

Probably just a statement to cover them in weird circumstances so people can't object if they change their minds.

Also, in the recent weapon design contest, they did give some "honourable mention" type awards to things that had great designs but seemed un-implementable - like the scroll design for summoner, which looked cool but wouldn't have fitted well into the book's animations.

Really hoping with 7.0 we get a little update to the character creator. even if it's small stuff like being able to wear more than one makeup, change our eyebrow color separate from hair color, updated old hairstyles, etc.

I hope so too!
I'm not going to hold my breath though, imo the dev team seems slightly out of touch with requests like this- but there's always the chance they do improve these things that haven't been updated in.. years
