Hmm, in terms of your question. Firstly, I always enjoy being unique. I'm not one to follow the trends, but I do set the trends! I wanted a strong female character, and roe fit that nitch perfectly. I was pretty disappointed how my character from 1.0 looked, when I got a chance to see during beta.
When I first saw the promotional video of ARR, I saw the exact hairstyle my roe wears, from the rear. Soon as I saw it, I was like "I don't care what race has that, I want it!". After falling in love with my Shira from beta testing, I couldn't help but keep her ^^. -

I chose to go fem roe cuz I was tired of being Miqo at the time (everyone is a bloody miqo!!) and roes are the closest I could get to my max height beast from PSU >:3
Also its fun to stand behind people and make them feel short!!
