I really love the look of it. It is still sad to see so many people using 'arguments' like I don't like to see men in dresses.
Even it looks more like a dancer outfit that would totally fit for males too. Look at what Heerz posted.
Why isn't it okay to have a elegant and more light outfit on a male? Just because your narrow mind equals elegance and feminine?
Most of those people are okay with the more tomboish, tough female characters but as soon as there is a male that seems in any way possible "too feminine" .... Release all the hate!
I hate how there are still people supporting and DEFENDING this stoneage double standard.You don't bring a single REAL argument why it shouldn't be a thing besides: " I don't like to look at it!" And some stuff about how it has allways been so and therefore won't change.

I know internet is a gross place but if I see threads like this, that started with such an artistic and simply nice and kind intention, wrecked by people filled with hate against something that isn't hurting ANYONE.
Most of those coming here to be AGAINST it don't really care for the topic at all.
I wold bet an eye for it. The only reason those people could have is that they enjoy making people upset and stirr up things, safe in the veil of anonymity.

I drew something a long time ago when the outfit was announced. I think OP actually suggested me to post it here a few times through tumblr reblogs, but I'm an anxious person and it did not happen (apologies ;u; ). Anyway, there was a severe lack of roegadyn modelling this back then, so I went ahead and did it!

There shouldn't be any gender lock on any of the clothes, tbh. Personal tastes have nothing to do with it.
I keep getting disappointed when I'm remembered that I can't try it on my au ra guy. It would look amazing.
edit: i keep forgetting, but if there's one thing I'd love my female lala to be able to wear, is the male oasis set from the Gold Saucer. My Ul'dahn popoto needs more Ul'dahn clothes and she would look amazing.

Requested from the OP to post up my art here, in great part inspired by this thread and the potential for this to be a male outfit. Basically, if SE would allow, I would put this on my character so freakin fast. I feel it could certainly be made to work for guys.
