Yeah, I plan to run at least Cycle 4 and the eventual Cycle 5, although I won't have the time to handle a YT Cycle as well.

Bumping this thread :3 with my top vote for each race/commentary on ENTM YT c2 auditions:

Lalafell Female: honestly I really like mine best... So I should just be quiet.

Lalafell Male: Close up I'm sold on Sunny Day~ or Doki Doki... Sunny Day and Mini Ninja rock the battle shots, and I prefer Doki Doki and Mini Ninja's Scenics. Zophar has good image composition but doesn't wow me besides glasses <3 I would say Sunny Day or Mini Ninja are the top contenders.

Elezen: pointless to comment on as there is one of each sex. And one is mine.

Roegadyn Female: being honest here I prefer my Roegadyn's aesthetic but Flutterborn has better image composition.

Roegadyn Male: both have a picture that completely obscures the character but I think Jarben at least uses it to bett effect.

Hyur Female: I do like mine, but I must say Rina just shines in her shots, and Ruki also is pretty impressive... But Rina rocks.

Hyur Male: mine is lacklustre for the shots, Koh'll is a very striking figure, and Marik is a goof... I'm drawn to Koh'll more.

Miqo'te Male: only one, no contest.

Miqo'te Female: The biggest pool of contenders... Eldaena, Portia and Rainbow Shy are most striking... I love Portia's the best. Even with all of them with her front and centre, she owns every picture. I hope to see her owning some off center pictures as well.

Terrini isn't even cast yet and she is already throwing shade at other contestants! xDDDD jk jk

I posted 4 photoshoots in the Audition thread to allow you soon to be models a few extra weeks to get em done! 6 weeks may seem like a long time, but when week 6 comes around and you still have all 12 photoshoots to do, youll be kicking yourself in the behind! Theyre not too theme heavy, so if you end up not being cast, youll just have some cool shots.

Episode 6 was posted, if you guys didn't notice!

17 Competitors so far, that means 3 are guaranteed no shot at getting in and 2 more are expected to bail by the time competition rolls around! Miqo'te Females have to REALLY shine to get cast. I have a question though... Who all has a say from the auditions? Is it just the Host (aka Rongi Pongi for current auditions) or do the judges also weigh in? Asking also because I'm still considering running the next set of YT competitions in you're stead XD

ALSO is there a theme expected from "Model Fade Out Segment, Call Out Order Segment, and Introduction Segment"? I noticed in Cycle 1 everyone is in Hempen Camises, will this be expected again? Taking shots for this will also be a good way to pass time until auditions are final.

My introductory battle shot is so good on Terrini, it would be really hard to top... Starting to wish I didn't enter it as my audition... I'll really have to work EXTRA hard on any contest submissions... I really don't suppose I could re-use it :(

I get that you're really excited for the competition, trust me I was bursting at the seams when I was auditioning for Cycle 3. But you're "criticisms" could be taken out of context, for example.

Everyone always has room for improvement, no one comes out being 100% best all the time. I would have plenty of down moments when I was trying for a perfect shot, plus most shots can be very subjective, because everyone will always have a difference in opinions. I've already been in a cycle once, and I always feel like I have much more room to grow and for improvement, I never think I'm "above" anyone else. I know coming into this I don't have 100% chance of even making the casting list for YT2. But I'm willing to give it my all, and show what I have learned from my past.

Already trying to give out "critics" when you haven't even participated yet, just feels a little too much at the moment. Maybe it's just me, and this is purely my opinion. I'm certainly not trying to I guess condone you or hate you. More of, I feel some things you said might lack some respect towards the other entries? I don't know...

The fade out segment, introduction segment, etc. will all have different rules and such for Cycle 2, so please do not start working on those yet! ((Ive already written 75% of the Cast emails, but I have not finished the part for this section yet!))

I've also upped the Fan Voting Rounds from Rounds 1-6 to Rounds 1-7, so even more of the models images will be seen regardless of elimination status! ^^

Don't feel bad! Here on ENTM we try to be extremely positive at all times! Even in our critiques we aim to provide constructive criticism at all times. None of us are getting paid, so this is all on a volunteer system, so we try really hard to all get along and keep every one's spirits high. I've never been eliminated before, but I cant wait to be in Cycle 4 and experience it! xD But it's really hard, so we try to provide a positive environment for everyone.

Well Marik did not intend to feel bad, an you shouldn't feel bad about being excited. Though, I wouldn't be talking about replacing Rongi yet, though wanting to is great.
You seem to be as critical of yourself as well, so it does not come off as you think you are better, you just want to motivate people.

One thing is I would not say things about the character's appearance, because that is purely opinion, and all my characters look exactly like I want them to look. I even used a Fantasia for my Roegadyn, because her eyes seemed small, then I decided she was perfect and didn't change her.

Criticism is fine, just not on character appearance, except for the makeover shot.

Anyways, will you be Elezen or Lalafell in the youtube videos this time around, Rongi?

Oh, Yu! At least I successfully recruited someone xD you are a fine kitty, Yu. It's nice if there is competition though... Things are more rewarding if they don't seem guaranteed. But it ISN'T guaranteed they'll cast one of every race/sex... The diversity makes models stand out more but... you never know, right? More and more auditions make getting in shakier...

The more competition the better, heck there's so many auditions now it's starting to really heat up and it hasn't even started yet!

But I'll assure you I might be a healer but that doesn't mean I have to keep you alive.

I posted the Youtube series on both the RuPaul's Drag Race and America's Next Top Model subreddits to get more fans, and LOL at the difference! Positive feedback from RPDR, and Negative feedback from ANTM! Of course I want views because I worked hard on putting the episodes together, but more so I want views for all of you guys! You work three times as hard as I do and dont want all that to go to waste. :3 I love yall. xD I've even shown my classmates, coworkers, and parents. :cool: Hahahaha

Auditions will start this Friday. See this post for the planned timeline.

But y'know what? I'll throw you a bone, something I wasn't planning on posting until tomorrow. Here's the audition shot list!

SHOT 1 - Scenic City-State
Take a shot of yourself in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania or Ul'Dah. I'll be looking at use of the background as well as model placement. Remember, the model should be the focus!

SHOT 2 - Action
Not a battle shot, as it has been before, but a general "action" shot. Model's choice - battle shots are still fine, but so is fishing, mining, crafting riding a chocobo, anything that captures a sense of motion.

SHOT 3 - Close-Up
A close up shot - try and show some of your personality in it too! No effects, please. The simpler the background the better! Below are two shots that demonstrate what I'm after - Rhaya's shot (the first one) is perfect in size, framing and background, while Keelah's (the second shot) is a great example of showing personality!

I have a question. If you do go ahead and audition for both the YouTube ENTM and the Forum ENTM, can you only participate in one? What happens if you do happen to get accepted into both? Or are you not allowed to audition for both? I guess this is more than one question... lol

You can audition for both, but I ask that you wait to audition for the forum version until I have posted the cast list for Youtube version.

I think that's fair... I mean... the same character should not be in both rounds... I think that's only fair... >_> DIFFERENT characters same person may be ok... What do you say about that?
