Steam payment HUGE price increase!

Look, i mean no disrespect but... why do you care?

Did your sub fee increase? did your ping goes up? Do you queue longer now?

because all we want is answers and this is a way to try to make our voices heard, what's so bad in it?

Is it because the steam reviews? They bought the game, so they can review as much as they want about how the feel about the game...

EDIT: So that some of you guys know, PS4 players also could pay sub through steam wallet, as long as they have both PS4 and steam base game purchased... It's like they could play both PS4 and PC version with the same account

Seriously, why does anyone that weren't affected by this care to the point to defend SE in this, when they weren't affected at all

People from ps4 used steam to pay less too and no i won't be happy, mistake or not i want them to actively talk to us and not just ignore. Today is the monthly fee tomorrow can be a worst problem. It's not just about money its about respect with their customers.

No, this is not oversight and defenetely not a bug, stop trying to pass it as one. They chose this price themselves to boost steam sales and it was lower than mogstation one even back when game just came out on steam.
If they somehow didn't notice ruble value going down almost TWO YEARS ago, but it suddenly hit them one month after new expansion release they have the right to change prices however they see fit.
But not informing their customers about is has no excuses, even if you can use some loopholes in EULA and present it not as subscription change, but as change of conversion course.

I hope you get a huge price increase in something you subscribe without notice.

So, sice we are "reflecting the pricing of other official channels and currencies" can we get something aside from tripling the price of subscription? I'm not asking for a translation, but maybe at least delivery to our country from SE store?

But that's the thing. You did not subscribe. A subscription is a active payment plan. That did not go up. One time payments did. Just set up a monthly subscription and apparently you will still be paying the old price, as someone here checked.

It does not matter, those that where paying by those methods and assuming they did pay the price that now the steam wallet people are paying, those that where paying more by those methods where doing so with an agreement to it. You just can't hike a price by triple after someone buys an expansion, that is really shady and it is likely people paying that adjuster price can't even afford the new price. The ability to make money in those counties is not as easy as it is in USA, so 15 USD costs much more to them then it does to someone in the USA.

I can't believe people are defending this, how would you like to pay 45 dollars one day per month for this game and no notice? that is the effect to them.

All major companies, with some respect with their clients, announces price changes every time. I'ts a normal thing to do, helps their cliente to make adjustments in his financial life to pay (or not) for that service or product.

It's about respect with the people who support that company.

Also, upon checking, it dawned on me why people insist on one time payments via steam. A recurring payment links your card and is always the same amount, and does not allow Steam Wallet to integrate itself, so your Steam Wallet funds can't go towards your subscription. But with one time payments, people can resell Steam cards and get funds into their Steam Wallets and then use that money to pay for game time. In other words, if they sell enough of cards via Steam, they can get free monthly game time. Now that the prices for that are higher, people are angry as it's harder to get free or even cheaper game time.
