I was referencing more like 6X F4 rotations or being able to do Convert > F2 > Flare, that kind of stuff.

On a single target, Sharp T1 > B4 > F3 > F4 F4 F1 TC F4 F4 is worse than T1 > B4 > F3 > Sharp > F1 > F4 F4 F3P F4 F4, primarily because of the clipping on both ends of going into TC and potentially having to clip even coming out of TC (if you can luck out and skip T1 next UI phase though that's very nice). On two targets, Sharp F1 can lead to more damage if you luck out and actually get a TC naturally, but on average Sharp T1 will lead to more DPS and is what you should do, like on Hand of Pain or potentially the split in A1S.

Rule of thumb in general for TC: mobility > multi-DoT > use after F1 and as late as possible without screwing yourself over, most preferably if possible in the UI phase. Don't TC at 18s over a F4 in 99% of situations unless it's for mobility purposes.

Sorry guys, I have a general question about AS3, and finding information on here is very overwhelming. My question is simple: on average, how much DPS should a i200+ BLM be doing in AS3 in Phase 1, Hand Phase, and Add phase? I'm asking because there are plenty of times where I'm out DPSing him, and I'm not sure what he can be doing better (Caster, BLM specifically, is my biggest knowledge weakness). I'm averaging 1.15-1.2k before add phase, he's about 1.1k. Any information can help, even better any videos showcasing a near perfect run would be too! Thank you thank you (-_-)y

Yeah, BLM should not be below BRD.
Should be able to do 1350-1400 by end of hands and 1200-1250 by the end of add phase in that gear. 1.1k is like the minimum you should be ending that fight as a BLM.

So I've been away for a while and do not have the gear I could have. Only have weapon and 2 accessories of i200, rest is 190. So what DPS should I be looking at? Currently is 1.3k without pot at 3min mark.

Sounds about right.

A4S questions!

1) Do you cut short your rotation to prepare for quarantine?

2) Do you start at the side of the arena? Getting marked for orbs can potentially be a bit troublesome.

3) Do you take/feed any dolls?

4) Do you always take a laser whenever you can?

All of those questions depend entirely upon the strat and level of cheese used for parses and what not.

1. The 2nd qurantine is the only quarantine i actually delay a cd for, and that is leylines. Just wait til you see the 2nd quarantine (should be on leg 2) before you use leylines. Use enochian as it refreshes otherwise, unless you hold cds for leg 3, then just finish leg 2 w/o enochian (shouldn't be much) if a significant chunk of the 2nd leg remains health wise and you need to refresh enochian do so.

2. A4 opener is sprint -> sharp f1 -> fs (run in) Rs -> F4 -> F1 -> Pot -> f4 > f4 > f4> (did you get a firestarter? if so use it and convert, if not swiftcast flare convert.) finish with fire4s on whatever mp you have then go to the usual.

3. I feed 1-2 dolls per wave. Sometime I have both melees stay on and feed 2 dolls, it depends. Some blms are lucky however and feed 0. Depends on your group, I do however beleive that blm is one of the best jobs to feed dolls AND to die. it is very unfortunate for us.

4. I position myself to line up with the laser bits, (or birds, bugs w/e you wanna call em) So I only have to move a ton when I'm the one who the lasers aim at. Otherwise I only move 1-2 steps at most.

This is a parse from our attempts with lesser fuck-ups (ie. deaths or getting thrown out).
What do you think of the numbers, and how far off meeting the enrage timer are we?

Those look like i190 numbers.

Lots of slackers. Your healers and tanks need to step it up, it looks like nearly full time healing + fulltime tank stances. If you guys meet enrage it will be barely, by the skin of your teeth.

I know the numbers are subpar, but what are the numbers we should be aiming for with everyone around ilvl 204-206?

Also, our healers don't get to attack in the last phase since they currently seem to have trouble keeping up with mana I think.
