Well it wasn't an issue until you posted side by side, then I was like: Why is she complementing herself.... Oh wait, that's an A not an I.

It's cute and if we stopped this kind of stuff, we wouldn't have names like Palom and Porom. :)
My Favoritest twins. Evar!

well then come to gamescom and I'll give you this:

I have one this bottles here and can ask my BFF to make more XD
nuuu i want that bottle but maybe with limsa instead
Well I will be there and I have no problem with speaking in english XD
I'll have to talk english the most time anyways because my Emperial Trooper is from australia XD
And anyways the most ppl on the con and in cologne can speak english ^^
Would be awesome to see some ppl from this forum there :D
If this i super general, then I'll ask openly... Can anyone trade me a level 5 magic carp for my white 2? I need a Gyarados badly.
I really wanted to go last year, when i heard that Yoshi-p was going to be there, presenting ARR to the public. But, i was a bit on the late side and couldn't get a day or 2 off from work. /cry
I should try to go this year...
here is a link to the gamescom homepage: http://www.gamescom-cologne.com/en/g...home/index.php
I'll be there this year, so maybe we can organize a bit of a get together :D
Hmmm... It's only a 1 1/2 hour drive from where i live. It's getting more interesting by the minute.
By the way, before y'all get too excited. SE didn't yet confirm that Yoshi-P will be at Gamescom. It's very possible and even probable, since it'll be right around the launch of the game, so they'll probably send him out to drum promotion up as much as possible, but don't count on it 100% :D
I can go there in around 40min xD'
Dunno if I'll go, want to know first what companies etc will be there.
If I go, then I'll stare at you from afar *cough*
Oh and a totally random sidenote:
My favorite dutch word is "fietspad" and I love dubbel vla and that vanilla one with the crispy chocoballs *o*
Eurostar from London to Cologne via Brussels is just over 5hrs and £70 each way. You get cheaper rail connections from the rest of UK to London too because um.. Eurostar? idk. Pretty reasonable price, until I realised I'd have to bring my whole family. Selling the family holiday for the year to my wife as a video games convention... I'll be lucky lol
Yeah, I guess it depends quite heavily on whether the game has recently been released, or is just about to be released, presumably there's an even chance of either at that point.
It's the same for me. But i just talked about it with my little brother and he's psyched to watch the Tournaments there, so the chances are high that we'll go to the Gamescom this year. (^_^ )

Idm when Yoshida wont be there this year.
It's fun anyways to visit the Square Enix booth with the EU team and the gamescom is big! There are so many things to do and so many games to test XD
Sure would be awesome when Yoshida and his team would visit the gamescom too but that's not the point for me to visit that con.
I just wanna go there to have fun, hang around with friends and look what new on the game market ;)
So the fall semester here starts on August 12th. I still want to try to go! :x
This is all cool to hear. I'll take a look at how much it would cost to get from the central USA to Colonge, lodging and then to come back(among other expenses). I'd need to passport too (but I have been meaning to get one of those anyways, I live pretty close to Canada.) Oh and no heavy metal bars. I'm not a drinker haha.
Another idea. Can someone draw "Hydaelynrise"? Basically a pic of Hydaelyn seen from Dalamud. Similar to the real life Earthrise.
Earthrise
I did some googl'ing.
If booked my flight right now, to fly from my area to Colonge(and back) it would cost about 1600$ USD. If Abriel is correct on me being able to find a hotel for 50$ USD a night than that would be 250$ USD. Passport is 165$ USD(well for it and a card, 140 for just it.) I have no way to gauge food and transportation costs. I'm a light eater so I don't think that would be too horrible. Transportation on the other hand,...you tell me ^^,
So I can estimate a good 2,000$ USD, not including food/transportation and other things that pop up. For the 5 day stay from the 21st to the 25th.
Now although this was a quick search thats some hefty cash. It's possible I would be able to cut the price down by using other means of transport such as bus or rail once im on the continent. It is however a good starting estimate. I'm not sure if I can save it up to be honest, unless I start taking some more hours that is. Now is the perfect time to start I suppose, with summer starting.
It's not out of the real of possibility though.
It would be a hard decision. Mostly because my family has had plans for quite some time to start saving for things I wont get into right now. It's a lot of money and deciding where its gonna go is hard.
$2k is out of my range...
Flying is expensive as is, overseas only makes it worse. I live in North Dakota which isn't exactly close to a place that flies overseas either. So I have to book flights to a city with flights overseas. Haha. Things just add up.
It's a shame I wasn't thinking about all this sooner though. Going to say, PAX, would be considerably cheaper. ( less than 500$ round trip according to google) But they are sold out already anyways.
It's all interesting to look at though. It gives me a good grasp on things for the future.
That Monk. <3
Nice! I bet there'll be League of Legends tournaments and stuff.
Regarding the pics: Hell yes *Q*
I live kind of close to the border. Next NL city on highway signs is Nijmegen and it doesn't take that long to go to Roermond (even though I didn't drive there myself yet)
Unless you want to wait for approx. 4hours in line x.x
During that time you could go see the whole convention. I always thought that waiting in line makes more sense when you know that you'll be there for two days and not only one :S
(Or you have to be there when they just opened)
