The gloves are Halonic Priest's Gloves (healer) and if you mean legs, I'm afraid they are the elezen starter gear legs (is your fiance also elezen?). The shoes are the thavnairian sandals though, so anyone can wear them :D

Guys if you're going to post a picture, please host it on a site that doesn't have bandwidth limits (e.g. don't use ninemil or dropbox). Amberyl your pic isn't showing up because the site is cutting it off due to too much bandwidth usage.

I went for a swordsman motifon DRK as opposed to the heavy armoured knight, because miqo'te and heavy armour doesnt go well together

Is there a way to get the effects of the grit itself without showing the "buffed" glow on the character (ie, the dark aura on the sword and the 'clock hands' around the character, but without the 'flames' on the character, i tried "limited effects which removed the former, not the latter.)

No, the effect is the whole thing, you can't separately toggle stuff on it.
