Black Mage Sanctuary - A Guide to DPS

Is there a macro that allows me to use Raging Strikes and Ley Lines at the same time? In m opener(and other times throughout)I end up hitting them seperately(along with Enohiican and Sharpcast)and due to server lag or whatever I always end up having one of them not going through and leaving me agitated.

Any time I start moving when there's more than 0.5s or so I get instantly interrupted, which is a pretty big drop for me. I even managed to run back to my Ley too early in my opener in A3S for the jetstream thingy and got hit. I need my small delay back to survive T_T

That's because there is a small animation half-lock of about 0.5-1 seconds per buff, where you can't use another skill while the animation of the first one is happening. If you really want to use a macro, I think this should work:

/ac "Buff 1" <me>
/ac "Buff 2" <me>

Just be sure to smash that until both go off. If you want a one button press macro:

/ac "Buff 1" <me> <wait.1>
/ac "Buff 2" <me>

You only need to press that once, but it adds one second (lowest possible, whole numbers only) of wait time between casts.

Disclaimer: Macros cannot be queued and will result in a DPS loss if used for DPS skills.

I never really did slidecast above 0.5s due to unreliable results, so that wasn't really an issue for me.

You can use <wait.0.5>. It works with decimal numbers, but 0.5 is pretty bad since the tiniest amount of server lag will break it.

Macros only accept whole numbers. Your 0.5 will get rounded up.

It will accept the wait as a separate line ( /wait 0.5 ) but round it up to 1. At the end of the line ( <wait.0.5> ) is invalid syntax, so it doesn't do anything.

Word on the streets is one slot for tome/raid gear in 3.2 for melding, well, according to reddit translators anyway. What're the Piety breakpoints for doing any funky stuff on BLM as of now? I haven't really followed any of that.

For reference Piety V is worth 11 Piety, presumably 11 or 12 available melding slots.

I'm sitting on 277 Piety in-raid (with party buff) so I'm not getting fucked by bad mana ticks (e.g. Mana tick - B4 - F3 [no UI3-mana tick]).

Mana ticks have nothing to do with Piety. Or am I just missing something on your example?

hello i recently hit 60 blm and started looking at a1s/a3s videos and noticed that a lot of players still use sharp for f1 over t1 despite the potency gain thundercloud has because of the instant af3 refresh and therefore safely allowing an extra f4 cast in the af rotato. would that unconditionally be a dps gain or does it chalk down to that 18 second dot rule i saw discussion about earlier in the thread?
