What would be cool is if you could make the aerthrytes red or a dull grey before being attuned.

Add an option to the settings for automatic gear set updating.

Increase XP of Dungeons and award company seals for completion. Nerf fates to where Dungeons are worth more for the risk = reward. Right now everyone just sits in one zone and zergs down Fates while dungeons aren't even used.

You don't have to return to the market boards to check prices, you can do that from within the sell item interface (by this I'm referring to the box that comes up asking how many you want to sell of the selected item and how much you want to sell them for) when you're telling your retainer to sell something. You can find a button somewhere near the top of that interface and it'll bring up the market board entry for that item. From there, you can check current prices and past sale prices.

Not sure if it has been brought up somewhere in the 29 pages so far, but I would really like some sort of indicator to let me know if something in my Armory Chest is being equipped by one of my other classes.

The game can see that "Not all items are available" (or something along those lines) when I change to a class whose equipment is no longer all available, but nothing to keep that from happening.

Add more quests at every level from about 35 until 50.

Double (at least) the amount of bonus experience rewarded from battlecraft leves. Currently they aren't worth doing as they're worth 2/3 a FATE of the same level.

Controller Mapping
The ability to freely map controller buttons would be wonderful.

Currently, for example, lock/unlock target can only be mapped to either of the two thumbstick buttons, and not to any others.

I don't quite understand why this shouldn't be mappable to any of the available buttons on a controller.

Cross Hotbar UI
I like the cross hotbar. Its great for PS3 players, and people like myself who use a controller on PC. Switching between cross hotbar sets mid-combat could be improved upon if when quick-swapping sets by single clicking the set swap button it only cycled through bars that were NOT set as shared.

This way, you can set it so that when quick-swapping sets you only toggle between cross hotbars with actions relevant to your current class with a single button press, and can still select shared hotbars by holding the switch sets button and selecting the corresponding set from the popup menu.

Targeting using a Controller
I've noticed that when clicking the target button, the UI seems to select targets based on the direction your character is facing. At times while trying to target the retainer bell in Ul'dah, for example, I often end up targeting an NPC off to the left or right of my field of view even when the bell is dead center and closer to my character, just because my character wasn't facing the same direction as my camera.

By basing target selection on the direction the camera is facing instead, it would make selecting the target you want a lot easier when using a controller.

Put a yalm indicator to the right of the monster name on the target selection HUD Element (As well as player names.)

Disconnected from Server
This is one that's been plaguing me, especially with how difficult it's been to log in. Several times I've just been randomly disconnected from the server. I'm not AFK, I don't lag beforehand, just going along my merry way and suddenly the screen goes black and I have a popup saying I lost connection to the server. When trying to immediately log back in, it says I'm already logged in and will have to log out first.

My suggestion, then, is that in the event someone is unexpectedly disconnected, if they attempt to log back in immediately after, and the server recognizes them as already logged in, it should allow them to bypass any login queue immediately and resume whatever activity they were in the middle of.

I've even lost several HQ crafting materials because this has happened to me mid-synthesis, and have had to redo quests because this has happened during quest instances.

Being able to right click on mob and mark for kill order, instead of going down to the sign menu...

use a macro and then you can assign it to a key. Numpad works great for that.

Let us use the the Aetheryte Crystal in the main city to warp to Athernet crystals. We can already warp TO the Aetheryte but not from, and it's a really big pain to run to the nearast shard to get somewhere if I warp into the city via the crystal.

Please make your reporting function easier.

When I get whispers or shouts from RMT sellers, I would like to right click the name and choose report.

I'm not going to waste my time going through my menu, choosing support, selecting numerous dropdown menus and filling in lots of report information.

You can already access the Aethernet via each city's Aetheryte crystal. Simply go into the Aetheryte's menu and select Aethernet (it's at the top), then choose the Aethernet crystal you wish to teleport to and it'll take you straight there.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, you can do this. Once you've teleported in, use the crystal and select the Aethernet option at the top of the resulting menu, this will let you warp withing the city rather than running to a smaller shard to do so.

Yes please all monsters should show on the enmity list when in a party.

Retainer Level System
A lot of people would love a way to access a retainer en-route somewhere, or to bring up the market board from their retainer / etc. So I suggest adding a rank / level system to the retainers. Now, some people may think, "Well, how will you rank / level it?" That's a big issue. You would level, primarily at first, by selling things on the market board. However, instead of basing EXP based on how much you sell the item for. Base it on the quantity, and quality, rather than the price. This way, you won't be able to gain exp by just selling at like, 1 Gil. Furthermore, here's what ranks I'd like to see:

• Rank 1 - Standard
• Rank 2 - Able to do "Buy Requests" (Automatic buying of certain items. IE: Materials. Have to already have one of the item to provide so the retainer knows what you're looking for.)
• Rank 3 - Able to get EXP from "Buy Requests" and not just Selling items.
• Rank 4 - Able to summon via a skill in the wilderness. (You are given "Vulnerability Up" when summoning the retainer, and cannot be esuna'd, etc.) (Cannot store items from mobile version.)
• Rank 5 - Able to view the market board from the wilderness via the retainer.
• Rank 6 - Able to store items from mobile version of retainer.

A sort function for the FC chest and the ability to right click an item to store it, like retainers. People just throw stuff in there without sorting it lol I found bat fangs on page 3, when there was a stack of them on page 1 and 2 -.-

Also, being able to put gil in, but not take it out would help too and seeing who takes what / puts stuff into the chest

There's an auto-sort option coming in patch 2.1

Please make it so when we hover over the number of allowances we have in the quest log dialog, we see how much time left we have until we get more.

I would love to see an EASY way to report gil sellers. I cannot believe how many are shouting and pming their services! Currently I am adding them to the blacklist to keep from having to deal with their spamm. It would be great to have a feature implemented that would serve the purpose of reporting them and ignoring them!

I could see using something like this: /report In my vision it would automatically copy the last thing they said that you could see (shout or say or pm) and then put them on ignore. Easy for us, and documentation for you!

Allow us to separately turn off battle music from the normal BGM.

I want you guys to know that when you do install the idle timer that people will make a macro to move X amount of minutes right before the timer goes off so that they can stay logged in. You can combat this action by running or making a program that watches for the same actions over and over. For example: If someone makes a macro to move every 15 minutes when the idle timer is 20 minutes they move on 15 everytime and your program will know this, or if they just go random like 5 they move 10 minute they move 15 minute they move etc. This is a pattern, make the program to recognize pattern based attempts. Just a big big big suggestion!

In FFXI Bot fishing got so bad that GMs would send you a tell and if you didn't answer within a few mins or so you would get banned. All it will take is an auto log off in your Inn even if you are mashing buttons or getting stuff out of your chest cause I know that's where everyone will try to afk at cause no one can see them. So 20-30mins auto log off when your in the Inn no matter what. And then if you happen to see someone AFK that is in the same spot jumping or running into a wall then a GM call can be placed and they can take action and disconnect them. I'll admit some times I need to AFK cook dinner, clean, get my kid off the bus nothing that takes more than 10-15mins and if I need to run to town I just log out. But all the people saying I'm staying logged in while I'm at school, work or sleeping ever thought that if other people had a chance to get on and play do what they want get tired or has to go to work or school would have got their time in and would be happy and maybe we wouldn't have all these server issues.

You can already set your chat channel default to something else.

Do you use a macro to have <mo> -> <t> -> <me> priority or something? You can queue heals just fine, but you CANNOT queue macros for some reason. It would be great if you could queue them, and disable on-screen error messages on actions performed in a macro as long as one of the actions works. The problem you're having is almost definitely with the macro, though.

To expand on this, I'd like the option for a focus target button. Set it to right stick and you can use auto-run + right stick to set your focus target, right stick to target it, and maybe even right stick again while the focus target is targeted to target his target. ...too many "targets."

You can do this already, however. Cross hotbar filtering, I think it's on the third page of your hotbar options? I currently play with two shared hotbars at the end for menu shortcuts and limit break + enemy signs, but only my first hotbar enabled in the filter so tapping RB immediately returns to it no matter which hotbar I've switched to.

dont know if this has been said yet (cuz i dont feel like reading 31 pages of forum), but plz add a feature to report/ignore players (specifically gold spammers) by clicking on their names in the chat window

Kind of a weird one but after trying out materia creating for a while, I realized that I had deconstructed some of the gear that I had gear-set for other classes. For instance, looked at a level 1 pair of gloves while on my lvl 30 ACN. Went, why do I have those again? Meh, destroy! Later on, I switch to my CNJ to lvl it up some more and have an error in my gear set and no gloves on.

If there was a warning saying something like, "This piece is currently in gearset 15 CNJ, are you sure you want to turn to materia?" I think it would benefit silly people like me quite a bit. I find it taxing to switch between sets or memorize all the gear I use in each set just to avoid accidentally destroying a piece that I worked hard to get. Just a thought. And as for item sorting, thank god lol....

Hit the duty window in the menu and click timers and it shows when you get your next allowances

SERVER SCREEN
- Sort the servers according to name.
- Put the servers where there are characters on top, sorted alphabetically.
- Grey out servers that are full so that people cannot create new characters in those servers except those with an invite from a friend. Institute codes to invite friend to create a character in a full server. One account can have up to 3. I think this is reasonable.
- Show Que numbers for full servers...we don't mind if it goes up to 1000 or more, just show it so we know where we are and not disconnect us automatically (error 1017).

Battle
- Prioritize Mob, NPC, then other players. In that order. I want to see my mob when I am killing it in FATE. Current condition makes it impossible to target mobs in FATE where 25+ ppl are involved.

Search system
- enable search by /sea 'player name' or something to that effect.
- put some sort function in the search screen by clicking the column head (sort by name / level / grand / freecompany) etc.

allow us to inspect players.

allow us to try on gear with out having to actually equip it.

an actual button to decline party invites.

an actual button to leave parties, or the option to right click on the party and select leave party.

ability to type /target and target an enemy, also not require us to type the full name ie /target "Rakashu Action" but instead /target "Rak" and it would select me.

/roll for dice rolls. with the added feature of deciding what numerical values you want ie /roll 20 /roll 2d20 /roll 2d20+2 etc. (there are a lot of uses for a /roll that don't include gambling.)

zooming in all the way with the mouse puts your character in first person view.

stop being so overzealous with the invisible walls, because some times it literally feels like I'm playing Invisible Walls: The Game

This can be done but you have to change the main settings first.

The ability to manually and personally track and un-track quests is sorely needed. It was in the beta phase 3 as a check box, why was it taken out anyway?

LEVEL SYNC KEYBIND. I don't think there is one, would be nice to have a Level Sync Keybind.

i know everyone and there mother has said something about this login issue that you guys seem to have. (isn't this what beta was for, to get these issues known and fix before 8/27 ? ). well to me it feels like we are just in another beta test phase because nothing has been done to fix these issues. really now how hard is it to up the number of login's to each server ? it isn't hard get that put into the game so we all can enjoy the game and not spend 30 minutes - 8 hours trying to log into a game that we have all payed for but can't get in to play :/ i mean really 5am on a na server and i can't log in due to server full.

What I'm really looking for:

- A Free Company Recruitment Board. You can find which Free Company is recruiting, information about the Free Company, and who to contact. You can also apply to join a Free Company there. Having this board will help keep Shout chat from being spammed by FC recruitment messages. It will make it easier for those who are looking for a FC instead of finding it elsewhere.

Let me add my voice to this. Even the All filter doesn't let me target Carbuncles, so I have to use my mouse. I also tried adding Minions to a filter thinking that might let me target Carbuncle, but it doesn't seem to work.

In the meantime, my Thm friend keeps accidentally targeting Carbuncles. I asked, and he said he wasn't using any filters, just the default settings. As a healer though, I find the filters very helpful, and don't feel like giving them up just to be able to target Carbuncle.

I can target my Carbuncle as Arcanist, which is good, but does make it less convenient to test this issue.
