Good luck, I know it's frustrating... I did this entire process for v1.0 back in 2010 (reformatting, rolling back, reinstalling windows) and it is not fun and nothing I would wish on someone else.

trying get the system to bare minimum..so that nothing but the game and what is needed to run the game is in it,,,aand work from that...i hate excuses..i hate blame game..i hate this crap of cant replicate it...well i'm doing all the outside the game physical work.. getting back to the basics...do find a direction to run.. why i dont know..why i am paying to find issues,,if i'm doing the work i should be paid..when i'm done digging arround narrowing down the cause,,it will be dismissed by everyone else..as nothing...why,,, cause i believed in square enix..and i want to play.. so here i am doing everything i can to play..and feel like i'm being ridiculed and mocked for it by the very company and game i'm trying to protect...honor be damned..i just wanna play..
65% of win 7x64 istalled...everything is down loaded on usb drive ready for install...just doing game and nvidia drivers..no antivirus or firewall yet
that last 4% of intall takes forever lol...
I just tried everything you described. The worst it got was teleporting from Costa del Sol to Coerthas (took about 30 seconds to come out of the loading screen), Coerthas to Limsa was a breeze, and then taking the Aetheryte to anywhere else in the city, running back to it from the upper decks and doing it again, then running back and teleporting from a highly congested area back to Costa del Sol (which is over populated at this moment on Hyperion) and not one error.
I would love to be able to replicate this, because then I'd at least have an idea of what's going on. =\
kick me again square..lol

I'm almost to the point of buying a new computer!!
Bump since I just erred out.
More and more runtime error crashes.
I've never had any runtime errors until the last 2 days.
90000 is back to haunt me as well. At first, I thought it was due to heavy weekend traffic. But it's Monday late morning, and here we go again with the disconnects. SE apparently needs to fix something, or the game just isn't playing nice with one of the usual suspects (Microsoft, etc).
Please give us a reply here, SE.
Bump. Crashing like crazy today.
I'm having all of these errors too. I'm trying to run through Thanalan to do my level 20 quest to kill Ifrit but I keep hitting random lag walls and I have to wait for NPCs to load. I KNOW it's not my connection or any kind of lag on my end, and I don't know if the server is doing it, because my boyfriend is playing the same game on the same server with the same internet connection, and he isn't getting any of these errors. I thought it was my computer but I see some of these people have better rigs than me and are still having issues. If this doesn't get fixed I don't know if I will want to keep playing the game. I have no idea how SquareEnix responds to these issues however (I did not play beta or FFXI).
Edit: Went to do a levequest and I arrived at the spot before everything loaded on my screen. Something invisible was attacking me while I was still loading NPCs, an overturned wagon, and various other graphics. It took at least a minute and a half before I could see or target what was attacking me. This is utterly unplayable.
I've been running fine up until today and starting today my screen flickered black and back for a minute or two beforce locking up and crashing my machine, not having this issue except for Final Fantasy XIV, be nice to know what here fixing. Hopefully the patch tomorrow will fix this.
Guess I can't even harvest in South Shroud now.. Error'd out twice in 30mins there and it's not even peak hours..
I really think it has something to do with congestion. Something just can't handle it (my computer, my internet connection, their servers... who knows). This always happens in incredibly crowded places with hundreds of players, like LL or Quarrymill.
I do crash more frequently in highly congested areas, but it still happens in areas that are far from congested, like the Sylphlands in the East Shroud.
Seems worse today after the maintenance, can't play for longer then an hour with out getting this error today.. Usually runs just fine through the weekdays and starts crashing Friday/Saturday during peek hours..
Not one error since launch!
14 crashes in the last 5 hours....
3 more just since the last post. It certainly is affected by congestion, as I'm in South Shroud and crashing constantly.
Getting a dozen of R6025 errors a day still...
I would really like to be able to play with my friends on Adamantoise, but everytime I go to that server, it takes TEN MINUTES for an NPC to load in and then, while just standing around, I error out. Starting to get SERIOUSLY pissed off!
I'm experiencing constant runtime errors, invisible walls, NPCs taking minutes to load, going to fates that require you kill mobs/pick things up on the ground and turn items in, the fate ends before I can see the mobs or turn in the items.
Bumpitty..
Errors twice in an hour. Getting really, REALLY sick of this crap!
Same issue. My dell XPS crashes at random, could be after an hour could be after 5. When I reboot I have a C++ runtime error. Doesn't happen any time but when I'm playing FFXIV
Well, I jusr think I should post this here. I observed that setting my client to open as administrator doesn't work for me. BUT, the crashes got very less frequent. Also, I noticed that after I installed my Photoshop back in the computer, it installed a Visual C++ Library, and now the game crashes very frequently, so I think it has something to do with Photoshop too. I know many of you don't use this software, but I guess that any interaction with observe like this may be useful for the dev team.
Bumpity bump. :(
So I've been getting R6025 since Early Access and I've tried everything I could think of, except, just uninstalling all the Microsoft C++'s and running the game.. Well I finally was fed up with the error and tried it last night.. To my surprise I have not gotten R6025 since then.. I'll add that I've tried my hardest to get the darn thing to rear its ugly head but still no error.. Ran FATEs in North Thanalan for 2hrs at prime time, did FATEs in South Shroud for 30mins, harvested in that area for 20mins, ported to Limsa and ran all around while also porting whenever I could.. All these activities usually cause R6025 for me so I'm quite taken back that it isn't happening but I'm not ruling it as solved just yet by any means..
If you have time here is what I did with Windows7 64bit*Note*
- Turn off Windows automatic updates
- Uninstall every single Microsoft Visuals C++
- Reboot
- You should now only have C++ 2005 x86 and x64 (Windows won't let these go even if uninstalled)
- Run the game
Few programs I have will not run because of the missing C++'s but I could care less long as I can play without the damn R6025.. Take this as a warning if you do uninstall all C++'s
Also that I installed C++ 2008 x86 9.0.30729.6161 (Antivirus would not run without it)
EDIT
Well my game just spit out R6025 this morning.. NPCs were loading slow all morning then bam it error'd out.. Never had an issues last night during prime time on Friday night running FATEs but I crash zoning out of the inn today..
I also get this runtime error. Only on my 3 yo laptop though which needs lowest video to get good score, during a zone change. Perhaps it's a race condition where slower machines don't finish one task before some zone resource has loaded. I' seen the error teleporting outside of the City via the Aethernet gate, and even walking from one field zone to anothring La Noscea.
I had this error constantly, to the point where i was going to quit the game. I would crash every few mins in a high pop area, fall through the terrain, take 5 mins for a quest giver to appear etc. I know each PC is different and its complicated to narrow down the exact cause but I think what fixed it for me was....
uninstalling Photoshop.
Played all night without a single crash, and alot less lag.
Was blown away when i was in main cities cause i could see all the other people playing/crafting etc. They used to be all invisible.
Just adding my name to the list of people receiving this r6025 error. Never had this during beta, started at release. It has become worse as of late. Usually happens when I teleport somewhere, but has now started occurring while gathering in South Shroud. I used to get it maybe once or twice a day, but now it has reached a point where the game is becoming unplayable. It's unfortunate because I love playing this game, but will probably be forced to unsubscribe next month if this isn't even addressed. It would be nice to hear something from SE. Show us poor souls some love!
More and more crashes, still not even a reply.

According to sources on the web this issue is tied to a programming error and is usually pretty easy to track down and fix, yet the devs are swinging off people's nuts about things like making butts bigger.
