that cpu is 150W by default and you OCed it too (let's round it to 200) + 250W x 2 Titan so you still have 160W.
you can try removing a card and see if it shuts down even when using 1 card only.

i forgot to says, i'm playing in surround with 3x 24 inch (16/10) screen, thats cause the crash. I never had this probleme with my old 670 gtx. I have a wattmeter plug, and i can check power usage, but most of the time in don't exceed 750 Watt that is the very maximum, i'm around 500/550 with FF14, but a friend sayed thats its could be irregular voltage peek that could be the problem.
By the way, i still have those strange freeze problem, like everyone :).
I believe I found the issue behind my errors, and it seems the majority of us own the same hardware that is causing all this trouble, our Solid State Drives. I did a fresh OS install with just my Vertex4 installed and right off the bat, I was getting crashes. Specifically the dllhost.exe errors. When I traced my previous crashes, they were all .dll crashes. I turns out my SSD is actually corrupted.
I went ahead and installed Windows7 on a 1TB Caviar Black I was previously using for storage and the problem is no longer existent. I'm working with OCZ to replace my SSD and try to install FFXIV on it once my replacement arrives and see if the issue persists once more.
*shrugs* I can't imagine that this is the solution to everyone's issue who posted here, but its perhaps a try :\
This fixed my problems all together...
1. Used Display Driver Uninstaller: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=379506
2. Installed 326.84: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=380697
3. Installed Physx Driver: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/..._download.html
And Voila no more freezes or crashes since then. Thanks a lot!
going to test out installing on my hdd...currently its on ssd..
let you guys know if this makes a diff.
reinstalled the game in my hdd...driver still crashed
something new: instead of a black/white/blue bsod, i got a red one..
My game IS installed on a HDD. Windows is installed on a SSD.

I got another robo-response from support, they want me to call them. What are they going to do, tell me exactly everything I've tried?
Same problem here. Had it originally installed on hdd. After countless crashes and blue screens and uninstalled and reinstalled on ssd. Same problems, same errors. This has started for me since phase 4 beta, before that the game ran flawlessly.
Convinced it's not hardware issues on my end as this is the only game I have problems with. Blue screens are usually hardware issues but what explains random application crashing of this game?
disconnected all other drives (storage hdd, dvd-rom) except the one with FF on it. works for me, no crash since two days.
It would be nice if someone knew the real fix for all these random game freezes.
Normally have pretty good luck. In the South Shroud today, crashed three times within an hour. Hrmph.
Same problem here. I constantly crash and it happens frequently. After awhile it will randomly decide to let me play for a couple of hours. I more than likely will not renew my membership if this is not fixed. The good news is my trade craft skills are high...
I get the feeling that SE doesn't actually know how to fix the problem. Its very unlikely they would admit that they dont know, but instead will reply with "We are looking into the problem". I hope you find out what wrong soon SE, I like this game. :(
Maybe it helps, but for me the game crashes more often in the shroud areas with much grass and trees and vegetation.
I fixed my BSOD's, what fixed crashing for me was disabling the "Cinematic Cutscenes: Depth of field" option from system configuration --> graphics settings
My system:
Intel® Core™ i7-3770K Processor
680 GTX videocard
Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate
Installed FFXIV ARR on normal HDD
Installed Nvidia drivers: 320.49
I don't have any problems with other games only with FFXIV:ARR
I installled FFXIV ARR on my laptop and there the Cinematic Cutscenes: Depth of field is also disabled and it never had BSOD.
Hopefully this will help some of you. It doesn't matter if you have Graphics settings to maximum or low just try to disable Cinematic Cutscenes: Depth of field
i had these same issue so i uninstall the game and fresh install it and now i ahve new problem , download speed is sooo slow i ahve 4mb connection and i download the game when it 1st came out 0.40 now atm its 0.03 to 0.04
I found a way for me to deal with freezes till someone finds the true problem. I tab out every 15 minutes for almost a minute. If I don't forget to do this, then I can go a whole day without freezes.
Had a fun one today, BSOD in the middle of a dungeon. Dump is as follows:

It's really getting ridiculous. It's hard to enjoy a game (which I really do enjoy) if I have to live in constant fear of it crashing and eliminating any potential for forward progress.
don't think SE will fix this problem.
luckily for me i have gta 5 to switch to.
maybe one day someone here will find a solution
I'm Running this Game with an AMD Phenom II X6 processor, with Ati HD 6850 graphics card and having the same problem. Sounds to me it's more of a software problem more so than hardware. Espcecially since it's not native to a specific type of processor, Mother board, OS, or Graphics card. The problem seems to be persistent no matter what machine your running.
I had even downgraded from windows 8 to windows 7 64 bit and did every possible form of troubleshooting. Problem still occured. I just hope there will be a patch whether it be from SE, microsoft, ati, or amd, etc.
Comon FIX THIS!
I have only had one crash* with my PS3 previously, up until yesterday when I had 2 with in a couple hours. 1 on the way to the level 38 dungeon in Central Thanalan and the other in the dungeon Cutter's Cry.
*The previous one was right after they initiated the 30 minute afk timer.
I'm canceling my sub to FFXIV because of this and going back to that 'leading competitor' temporarily. I'll be eagerly watching until this gets fixed (if it ever does). Good luck, peeps.
I've encountered lots of problems while overclocking my AMD Phenom II Black Edition or my 550GTX TI. Both give the same results: Game crashes since the last phase of the open Beta at random occasions. During early Beta 3, I could oc my system just as I wished even while the game was running.
Since the day that brought the "benchmark tool", this was completly impossible. I had to make my settings prior to starting the tool, if something didn't work well I had to reboot. Seems like that tool and the release client save hardware settings throughout changes, even with restarting the client.
The final result for me is:
- VGA card overclocked a) random fragmentation in dungeons b) blue screens on any place on a random time span (can bei 5 minutes or 5 hours in between)
- CPU overclock just blue screens on the same random time span as with VGA card.
Why did this work perfectly during beta and is now piece of crap? I could easily run my CPU with a multiplier of 20 instead of basic 16 (which means 0,8GHz more) and ~22% more in VGA card, now it even gives BSoD on the lowest increase (0,5 multiplier for example).
I just got a BSOD while not even actively using the computer the game was running on. I was sitting idle in a zone while queued for the duty finder, so I was checking stuff on my laptop.
I managed to quickly jot down some information on the BSOD, which pointed to a file named nvlddmkm.sys. Additional crash report as follows:

After Googling nvlddmkm.sys, one suggestion is to disable Aero in Windows 7. Silly as that sounds I'll try anything at this point.
Hello guys, I was having these problems everytime I was playing with a video drive. At the time I was using the GeForce 327.23 Driver and then I tryed to downgrade and used the GeForce 320.49 Driver but still got the crashes. After play without drive for the weekend I tryed a Beta Driver the GeForce 331.40 Driver - (BETA) the that it was made to BF4 Beta it looks like. Not having any problems so far and playing for 4 days without any problem. Hope this help some of you.
o3o/
going to have to test out both the above.
disabling aero and using the new beta driver..
tried both beta 331.40 driver and disabling aero.. still crashed.
Same issue here. I'm getting BSOD while in dungeons (as a healer this is really bad for the group) and even by idling in town i sometimes get it.
Tried various nvidia drivers and still the same issue, tweaked in-game display settings and nothing. Surfed around Google and no fixes found.
An SE mod said something in this thread "we are looking on this issue", so any enlightenment about a possible fix for this? or are we bound to deal with this during our game experience?
So far nothing else has been said/done about this problem.
Thanks.
Also having this problem running a GTX660Ti.
Sometimes I get no "display driver reset" for hours, other times I get them every 10 minutes. The screen will turn black for a few seconds and when I get a picture again my framerate dropped to ~9fps which makes evading boss moves as tank almost impossible.
Tabbing out and back in again solves the problem sometimes, other times I'll have to tab 10+ times (group usually wiped by then) before things run normal.
I tried stress testing every component I can, tried different driver versions and also tried playing around with ingame and driver settings.
The only thing I noticed was that I had less problems when turning my settings low (just resolution at standard 1920x1080).
My previous card was a Radeon 5850 and I never had any issues with it no matter which driver version or game.
The first time I heard a word of TDR errors was after these errors started to happen with the new card.
It's also the first card where Firefox crashes randomly.
Try to uncheck the "Cinematic Cutscenes: Depth of field" option from system configuration --> graphics settings
When I did this I haven't had a single crash yet.
okay, so i tested out battlefield 4 beta...getting the same exact crash/bsod...
now im starting to think if it's hardware/driver issues..? or if its coincidence that that both EA and SE are having the same issues.. o.O
Using asus n55sl asus laptop
Ci7 26770qm
16 gb ddr3 1333 rams

I've been having freezes only for past weeks but few days ago 1 time and today I received BSOD
I've played other games crisis 3 , new blizzard heartstone , wow for 4 hrs each game but no crash only ff14 giving me freeze which is a problem
Please squareenix fix this issue or please respond here
Thanks
I'm sorry for hear that guys. Here the BF4 beta driver worked no problem, but looks like it will be temporary, didn't expect to play that many days. Without problems since I intalled the driver but since is not the driver problem may happen anytime.
Sorry for not helping that much and hope SE fix this problem.
o/
I have the same issue too. Is SE working on it? I re-installed the game 2 times, re-installed the latest drivers for my graphic card, and the same result...
You guys really need to stop assuming it's SE's problem when crash problems are almost always a hardware-driver problem.
Run Prime95 (for CPU/RAM), run GPU Tool (to test the GPU), etc.

I fell asleep at a menu while standing in Ul'dah and it didn't log me out or crash.
As stated in much earlier threads, all the crashing I was getting disappeared after I stopped using the Beta Catalyst drivers, and now only crashes if MSI Afterburner's video capture is invoked. I'm not using a MSI video card (It's a ASUS DirectCU II Radeon 7770)
If you want people to help, you're going to need to post the Video card manufacturer, model and driver version being used. You can get this info from DXDIAG

I've already done Prime95 and any other stress-testing, as well as MEMTEST86. No hardware problems. My dxdiag.txt is below:
I'm still pretty convinced it's a problem with the game client since this never happened during beta. But that's my opinion, of course. I did find an updated driver (that's WQHL signed) for my X-Fi card since DxDiag says it's not WHQL signed. Creative's website is so bad that it doesn't show the most recent driver with my card. EDIT: Nevermind on the sound drivers, even though they're meant for an X-Fi card, they refuse to install. GG Creative.
Same Here, I have a super computer, Nvidia card, quad core, the works, but for some reason, whether it be 5 minutes into game play or 5 hours, I always seem to get a crash that dead stops my computer, other programs and all. The only thing I notice is that the music of ff14 still plays, no sound effects, but the music loops. My pointer keyboard and desktop all lock up and I get No error messages, no warnings, no nothing.
Anyone else know whats up or having the same problem?
I have pretty much the exact same problem with an Nvidia GTX 650 ti. I posted a thread about it, but no solutions so far.
