I believe they are in San Francisco. I don't think they are stopping East Coast, US :(

Believe they're only stopping in San Francisco and London, but their stays there will prob take up the rest of the tour.

This San Francisco thing looks to be at least a full day of media coverage.

Yeah, week long world wide blitz of 3 locations. Then the info from the 3 stops will be released at the same time. So we have to wait and just get the small tidbits til then.

Not really. They've shown off Alpha for a long time in some form when it was supposed to have commenced in September with Beta following in November. There's a good chance beta isn't till the end of February or in march. Everything, everything regarding XIV and ARR thus far has been delayed at least once, don't be surprised if beta does get pushed into March.

Have you ever been positive in your life like at all? Your a total buzzkiller. I could say another phrase but that be inappropriate for forums. Alpha is different because there was alot of kinks they needed to sort out to even have a "Playable build" this is beta were talking about not alpha were long past the playable build phase. If you recall Alpha didn't have many problems either.

I would speculate that they would push back this media tour if that were the case.

I recall things being pushed back, which were Yoshida's words. I'm actually a very positive person, however I know better when it comes to SE to keep an open mind, especially because everything up to this point has been delayed. It's not negativity to realize that lol. You seem to confuse being overly optimistic and having no concerns as being positive.

'Mid-feb' has come and is going, hence just don't be surprised if it gets pushed back, just like Alpha was. They've always has different versions of ARR in production, which the Alpha version we tested wasn't the actual client of ARR, it was a stripped down version of what they wanted tested.

They'd still have it since ARR is supposedly going to be released this year so they'd want to start driving up hype and giving the media a first look at it since Alpha. They did the same thing with XI prior to JP beta and prior to the 360 beta/launch. That's the main purpose of a media tour for a game not even out, getting the word out and trying to entice people.

I can't recall a time that you were positive. too many things that come out of your mouth is usually the opposite. Hence why I can't remember a time where good ol' Elexia was positive.

PS: You could keep it to yourself, there are people that are excited that Beta is close here.

As I posted in the other thread (which I shouldn't have because it's the translation thread! x.x) I am starting to think beta won't start til the 25th because maybe Yoshi needs to be back in Japan. Then again, maybe he'll be back by this weekend? Do you guys think that they could/would start Beta with Yoshi not being back home?
