pff, lol...i have more interest in masamune's "Perfection" LS than BG.

Atleast they put up a worthy Challenge...but with a lil bit more...attitude.

Brown nosing aside I just wanted to communicate my particular opinion, that the BG name is something I'm proud of. People suggesting that we might want to change the name of the LS because it's got a bad reputation makes me want to provide my own perspective.

Trying to convince people that think windower is a bannable offense that your LS is actually really nice, fair, etc, is wasted effort. Those kind of people will never understand the types of people who strive to be the best, who care about world firsts, etc. They would rather ramp up their self hate and lack of achievement to the point that they are so foaming at the mouth on these issues they consider using windower or parsers akin to murder and wish ill upon you.

It's fun to troll them but not much else; serious conversation and attempts to convince them otherwise is throwing megabytes down the drain.

I wanted to join these guys back in XI but they wanted people with 1337 gear and i had above averge, so kinda gave up, they do however have good strats/advices sometimes.

You know, I started reading this thread from a standpoint of 'I respect Blue Garter for their skills, but don't really like the tone of comments/posts/etc I've seen from members.' The level of fame/infamy they've managed to acquire is fairly impressive though, that 29 pages later, we're still responding to a "We're looking for people" post. O.O

After reading this, I like them a bit more, because some of the arguments being brought up against them are utterly ridiculous.

I still think having public-viewable applications & comments are dodgy, but an LS is free to run things however they wish to. Good luck with your applications, guys!

Not trying to start arguments, and this may be a little old now, but I will say Parser is not a hack, it consolidates information which is already available to us, and just what I am thinking about my past comments now, I already said that the term 3rd party tools is very wide, but it can be misunderstood as you hack, if that is not true I would update your application to include names of programs, show people that you are aren't asking them to bot, just to use specific programs, surely you know the programs you use.

I know I have been rather, vocal about your first time strats, but that is the main reason I would never join BG, the only vids I ever see are the first time vids and I usually see BLM BRD WAR WHM, everyone else gets ditched, that is why I will never join BG, I want to play a job because I enjoy it not because I am racing to get the first kill, its irrelevant. but lets not argue.

I have posted legitimate things to change in your public image yes it may have seemed a little trollish, but they were legitimate things, whilst they probably would not make me jump servers to join you they would hugely improve the amount of applications you would get.
