Or people can have their interesting discussion without "feeding some troll" which is what happened the last few pages. Even a troll thread can lead to great discussions and sometimes even trolls have some points which can be used for arguments.

There are no great discussions going on in this thread. The OP posted drivel then never posted again. It is a troll thread with people trying to keep it alive for no purpose other than the fact that they can.

I think the key difference between Alisaie being written that way and allowing people to play as a similar character is the degree of control the writers have over her. Alisaie will never go "over the line" of what is appropriate for the game classification or their personal opinion of what is acceptable - but they have no such control over how a player acts, dresses or role-plays. (I believe ratings are also harsher about what a player can do compared to what an NPC can do, thus why we can see other characters drinking or smoking but can't do it ourselves.)

I do agree that I'd rather it wasn't played up so much, though.

Sorry, but you don't get to decide that for us - and the OP's post is pretty irrelevant at this point in the conversation. I'm only looking at what's been written since the last time I was here.

(In any case, if they were trolling they're doing a poor job of it - and seem to have hit enough of a nerve that 29 people liked their post, presumably in agreement.)

And you're mistaken on my motive (if not the others') that I'm keeping this alive "because I can". I'm posting because I'm having a conversation, and I will continue to post until it has run its course and we have nothing left to add. The point where that happens is not for you to judge.
