I don't get how PPL have friends on other servers for this long and didnt just reroll to a new one a long time ago. Why didn't your friends join same server as you @ start? Also the servers was full when the post came up lol.

Ever stop to think that the friends they are talking about are their guild and everyone else was able to move over but they got stuck?

Well, the French and German LS (from Fabul) are heading to Ragnarock in mass. Thats probably around a 160+ between the two of them. The GMT and other EU seem to be staying but still, all the Germans and French from Fabul are flooding to Ragnarock there should be slots open.

You are being given a chance to transfer on the World you want. This is a privilege and not a right, remember this. On XI when the World Merge happened, you had to pay if you were willing to move somewhere else. We have the chance to move where we want for free (provided there is room), I don't really see how you can blame SE for that. Servers have capacity limits.

People did complain about Plan 4. Now we get plan 2 and people keep complaining...

Update as of 12:28GMT all servers closed except Durandal, Ridill and of course Ragnerok.

The flames in here really make me warm on this cold day, seriously SE announce something, community complain, SE change it to what the community want, the community complain, there damned if they do and damned if they dont.

This is what the community as a whole wanted, take this as a lesson learned, think before you Q.Q and when Yoshi-P posts the pros and cons of each method learn to read them before you Q.Q.

We are currently on inferior servers, which have alot of limitations, come 2.0 we proably wont have these problems, if I was the dev team, I would be laughing so hard at these comments... In fact I am laughing so hard, this is the best entertainment I have had in a long time. Carry on, keep me laughing please.

Try to keep in mind that it's easy to say such things if you are not intending to move. Likewise it's easy to complain if you are. Try some patience here.. things may work out yet.

Its still a fact that the community wanted this merge option, SE listened to us and now, dispite getting prior warnings, everyone is raging that the servers are full, this is the main reason Yoshi-P didn't choose this method at first.

Well i still like this option better. You have all your friends and LS in the current server so... the others that are unhappy and want to move to other one just keep trying. Earlier saw Riddil and Durandal with limited access again so keep trying. It only passed one day, you have other 11 to try to move!

All the active French I know are moving to Rag, I have no idea about the German ls but I bet those who want to move already made their choice too and that's far from 160 chars moving for sure and Balmung hasn't changed to △ yet as far as I know.

SE sent emails to notify people about the merge today, maybe things will change in a couple of days if SE allowed people with inactive (unpaid) accounts to move their char. I didn't see that you had to have an active account/char to change server other than "1. Characters that are playable on both March 26 (Monday) and March 27 (Tuesday), 2012." in the "Character Names" section of the note. If they did allow people with inactive/unpaid char to move, there's hope still for those who want to move to Balmung.

Or if we stuck to Yoshi's original plan - everyone who wanted to 'stay' transfers to designated server. Everyone who wanted to move could do so. Do you see that happening here? no.

OMG WHAT ABOUT THE NON SUBS! - right, because that matters to me - and nonsubs continuation to be with their original server supersedes a paying players option to transfer where they wish.

Hm? I am talking about numbers generated by talking to the German And French LS leaders. Fabul was always a close place in knowing people. If they say they're all going then that should be plenty of space open for people. Dunno, doesn't really matter to me - just a bit of a raised eye-brow because some UKers want to come to Balmung but there is perpetually no spots open.

Some people don't realize that some servers were merged over cap. The servers that started with an x started over cap, several hundred people may need to leave before they go under cap and have spot open on them.

The servers that had a triangle will most likely have many periods were spots open and close since they started below cap.
