FFXIV Confessions

I only pick food that looks like I'd eat or drink in real life when I'm leveling. :eek:
Usually I go for sweets and drinks and stuff, or things that look appealing or cute.
That said, this lady makes nice foods in real life using XIV foods!

I don't care for the story at all. I tried getting into ARR and nothing grabbed me, then I watched all of HW's cutscenes and still couldn't care less. I skipped all SB&ShB because I just didn't care. I even went back and tried rewatching ShB's cutscenes because people kept pestering me about it, and I still couldn't get invested. MSQ just does absolutely nothing to grab my attention.

I saw someone post tier 8 material extremely cheaply comparedto the rest of their posts..........bought it anyways

In PvP I go after dancers specifically and like to watch them die. As a WAR I love that I have three CDs to make sure they don't get away.

In frontlines I wait to ambush close range dps to attack me then use blank shot to blow them off the cliff. Once had this dragoon come after me blew him off a cliff then he died from the fall then came charging back and blew off him off cliff again.

Since over 5 years I have the urge to logg off in my Gridania inn room. The only time I don't do that is when I logged of temporarily, but then I sat my Lalafell down on a comfy chair under a tent in a camp outside of Ul'Dah. I just can't log off in the middle of nowhere.

When my dedicated healer urges are satisfied and I slip back into my red clothes, I always found it too harsh to let my fairy implode (I wonder if that is even actually the case lore-wise - because, if I got it right, it's a part of my aether that manifests and gets returned when she leaves) as if you hardreset a computer. Now I always /pet or /bow at my healer companion and send her away manually.

..then I put on my Duelist set and go to sleep, so my Lodestone and forum mugshot always show me the profession I am borderline-addicted to: Red Mage.

I named my character in accordance with the naming convention of the race's lore only once.

Sometimes, when I heal in an 8 men instance, I stop healing the tanks altogether if they start playing the game of "Who's got the biggest aggro bar?" by pressing Provoc every time it's up.

Okay, this one is really petty: I hate the very concept of putting MSQ lore behind 24-player raids, or maybe rather important MSQ lore in order to fully appreciate/immerse into the story. I've made my peace with MSQ being tied to running dungeons and trials (which was a huge hurdle during my inital FFXIV "debute"), but stuff like Crystal Tower raids to fully appreciate Shadowbringers just kinda irks me. I'm actually approaching the very end of post-SB and just unlocked the first part of the CT series. If and when I decide to just "grit my teeth" and get it done with, is another question, though xD. Yes, I've read how easy-peasy CT has become (or has been). Just a rambling of a weirdo :D
