What was the thought process behind putting only one retainer bell in Rhalgr's Reach and Kugane?
What was the thought process behind putting only one retainer bell in Rhalgr's Reach and Kugane?
Regarding 4.0 and higher, forgive me if you have answered this question because I'm still new to Forums but is there any chance of any Grand Company Promotion quest or will the Warrior of Light forever be a First Flame/Storm/Serpent Lieutenant?
PS.. Thank you for the hard work both you and the entire team put into this amazing game, awaiting response, Thank you and I offer much appreciation this being my very first MMORPG ever.
Can we please ride our Mounts on top of the water? It really breaks up the flow of the game when we always drop from our mounts when entering water. It also would make crossing the Ruby Sea a bit easier since it's such a big area and swimming isn't that fast.
When I complete a Leve it offers to take me to the nearest settlement. Since Heavensward and now Stormsblood have the Leve quest in the city and not the area you are performing them. Would you be able to change the teleport to the town we got the Leve Quest?
My question is a little less serious but I have been thinking about it since the I got to Yanxia. After completing the Namazu quests at Yuzuka Manor and seeing how involved a couple of them are and how keen they are on being merchants. Are they a possible future beast tribe? And will it ever be possible to hire a Namazu retainer?
Because I would absolutely LOVE to have a catfish with a bell selling all my items on the MB. It would be fitting for their behavior as well.
I'm really excited for the 24 man raid being that the theme is Return to Ivalice. So here is another question, will the Return of Ivalice 24 -man raid be including the whole world of Ivalice having homages to all games related to Ivalice (Tactics:WotL, Tactics Advance and Tactics A2, and FFXII) or just from FFXII? I believe the Return of Ivalice raid should start from the roots beginning with Tactics: WotL and so forth.
Can you please add Rowena Tome, Raid, and DoL/DoH traders to the housing wards and respected Guild Halls?
Glamour Question
Will be sometime a glamour system that saves equipmentte apperances in a "closet"?
Why do you hate Scholar?
I'm having a very hard time seeing your vision for the job. White Mage is supposed to be the pure healer, and from the recent buffs I guess Astrologian is supposed to be a diety who holds life and death in her hands, but Scholar just seems bad.
We have to work twice as hard to keep the party alive because our potency is so weak, our shields are weaker than Astrologian (even though shields are supposed to be what sets Scholar apart), most of our new abilities can be viewed as situational at best, but in reality are pretty much useless... What am I missing? Where does scholar fit into your master plan for healers in the game? Or does it just not?
With the changes made to Scrips, removal of any form of weekly cap, are there any plans to add unique rewards to Custom Deliveries to make them more worthwhile to do, and what is your current plan with them? Will we only see one added at a time or are there plans to introduce multiple NPCs with which we can do deliveries for? For example, a Moogle NPC unlocked by doing the Moogle Beastmen Dailies, same with Ixali, maybe unique NPCs unlocked for completing the level 70 class quest for each craft/gatherer as a way to add more depth lore in those respected areas.
There's allot of dungeons designs within FFXIV, my question is would it be possible to make versions of these dungeons without enemies or time limits, so players may just explore them, and is it possible to remove the 4 person limit for these dungeons without enemies?
Would you be able to place a lock system in inventories. It would be nice to be able to organise inventories in a way we like but also use the sort function without it destroying the rest of our organised inventory
Are you planned any changes for blackmage skills?
I mean, i like the new rotation, but in dungeons under Lv.70 we have nearly no chance to make the same damage we did before Stormblood and also in Lv.70 content we are one of the worst Damagedealers, unless we are overgeared.
First of all, I wanna thank the whole team for the effort put in this expansion.
While I love DRG, and love how the lore of the job is evolving (We use more and more dragon power) I feel that we're lacking at level 70.
Will Dragoon become a Melee Utility/Support Class or will we go back to glorious Burst DPS?
(It makes me mad that a in game cutscene shows an extremely powerful dragoon and we're nowhere close to that)
Can you add the "Remember your real life" prompt back to the log in screen please?
Can we have dialogue bubbles for player characters?
Like many NPCs within towns we see their dialogue bubbles as we walk near them and yet our own PC dialogue is bound to the chat window on the lower end of the screen and never in dialogue bubbles over our heads. If we could have this option for the roleplaying community it would be great, especially when we change our status to Roleplaying. But have it so that only those who are in the Roleplaying status can see dialogue bubbles of those talking who are also in Roleplay Status. This way we won't annoy anyone with bubble spam and those roleplaying will have some immersion.

Can we finally get more split gear options for jobs? At the moment it is too easy to gear up jobs (If you play all 3 tanks you get all of their gear from 1 end game set instead of 3 sets) In 2017 surely each job can have its own individual identity gear and ability wise?
Omega raid, Susano Extreme, Lahshmi Extreme and Royal Managerie is too hard. Can you please nerf it to make it easier and more accessible to the community?
Can we get a "claim" button for the challenge log? It is horrible to lose XP from it when you are actually on a max'd job/class. I would really appreciate if you could change it.
It always struck me as a little odd that the housing district theme is based on the Gridania melody but still plays in Mist and Goblet. In Shirogane the music feels especially out of place to me. Would it be possible to add unique music for Mist, Goblet and Shirogane and keep the current housing music for Lavender Beds? That's my #1 feature request!!
Titan-Egi has gotten significantly weaker relatively to the enemies of similar level in SB as opposed to HW and ARR. Are there plans to make Titan-Egi stronger or give Summoners an ability to heal their pets with Physick or something?
The Kugane Tower climb puzzle was fun and enjoyable. Are we going to see more of these jumping puzzles in the future? For example, a tower to climb in all the other city-states and other areas?
The PvP changes are awesome, thank you! However, there is no 4v4 unranked or custom matches. This somewhat hampers the community's ability to host tournaments and/or have scrim matches. Is there going to be an unranked 4v4 Feast available or custom matches?
A few Triple Triad questions:
1) There's a lot of good bosses (not just the final bosses) in the new dungeons (and even some of the old)...but still only 1 TT card available from some dungeons.
Would adding 3 cards per dungeon ever be considered? Each boss could drop their own cards rather than getting a random card at the end of the dungeon.
2) Can we get any new rules added to TT?
Such as elemental squares that placing certain cards in will give them a +1 to all sides?
3) Will we ever be able to use more than just one 5-star or 4-star card OR at least one 5-star and one 4-star card in a deck?
4) Will new platinum cards be added for the TT tournaments and prizes in the gold saucer? Maybe the main villains from the old games to go alongside all the heroes we already have?
Thanks :)
5) Will a new 1 million MGP card ever be added to the Gold Saucer or other expensive rewards?
I'm holding on to all my MGP at the moment hoping that there will be as I don't want to spend it and then have to save up again. But if nothing is going to be added, then I may as well just spend it.
Thanks :)
So,I want to say one of my favorite aspects of this game is housing, but I fear that it is inaccessible to most of the player base. So I'd like to take a moment to address some of aspects surrounding it.
Given the amount of wards and houses per ward, there are only a total of 2,880 houses available in total on an entire server. It sounds like a lot, but in fact it's not. Since there are a total of 66 servers that means there are a total of 190,080 houses available. Definitely sounds like a lot, but let's consider the 6,000,000 or so subscribers. even if only half want a house, that is a total of roughly 7% of them being able to own a house, but wait there's more! Each Free Company can own a house as well, so that drastically dwindles that percentage since personal and free company housing shares potential plots. We aren't even taking into consideration the demands for large vs small housing etc. I think that it's a huge problem on these servers, and especially on my server (Mateus) where one couple owns over 20 houses by themselves. Yes I know there is a limit of 1 per character and 1 per free company, but they leveled up multiple characters and made multiple free companies to bypass this.
So basically what I would like to know is how are you considering on making this content more widely available?
There are a few solutions comes to mind which I will outline below:
1. Add more wards. On the bright side, it's easy to do because the system is already in place. However, you still run into its limiting factor.
2. Redo the housing. I hear in FF11 there were a few houses you could buy, but they were instanced out, so any amount of them could be purchased. This is the best idea because then any player can have access to it. The only problem is I know it will take more storage data, but it's a good thing storage is cheap.
3. Severely limit house ownership to Freecompany only wards and account restrictions. While this could help a little, people will still find a way around these restrictions.
Please address the housing issue. My family and I left for 3 years and returned to be disheartened that this oversight had still not been addressed. I hope that there is some way to fix it, which I hope #2 is the part that is selected.
Thank you for your time.
My whole FC moves to a small pop server from one of the large population servers (because SE seemed to want us to do this and we were all for escaping the que lines). We busted our butts to get fund together for housing and had high hopes that finally we were somewhere we could own a FC house. My Company has been together from back when 2.0 relaunched and we've never been able to own a house.. It wasn't even from being picky it was from the seer fact we were on a Highly populated server. Even with the server change it is not looking in our favor to get a company house. Sure I understand that populations on a server will change and with free transfers it was bound to happen. But being unable to get a house at the very least a free company house locks out a lot of content that my company was looking forward to.
Shoot some were just looking forward to being able to color their chocobos finally or get past level 10 without spending all the gil they had saved up. Not to mention the airship only missions and garden plots. It wasn't till recently I learned that apartments were limited as well.. I thought they were put in place to make up for the lack of housing plots. I'm saddened that the housing hasn't really changed or the main issues haven't been addressed in all the years the system has been out. I can't even use the excuse that the game cannot afford the servers to host more housing with the game being in a great state at the moment and I think being the 2nd most popular mmo on the market to date.
I also agree with account locking houses.. it's no excuse for one person to hoard that many homes. Let alone not even put them to good use! I visited the ward that is owned by a couple of accounts. They all look the same and most of them are locked and have a handful of decorations if that to them.
These are ment to be hard that is the whole point of extreme content, ie NOT a faceroll
These are hard but are still posible with a random since I have done these myself with random parties and i'm not even close to extreme raid skill level
One of the countdown pictures for Stormblood shows an Elezen wearing the Scholar Artifact gear with a Carbuncle holding their quill. Is this a possible sign that Fairy glamours are coming in the near future with a Carbuncle option?
Thank you so much for the PvP changes! :)
Any chance we can see more stats being tracked, and put into our pvp profile? Right now we have stats at the end of a match, it would be awesome to have these stats and more as apart of our character, so we can see our KDA (Kills/Deaths/Assists) and more.
----
Outside of PvP, it would be awesome if we could see even more stats about our characters as well, (I love baseball, so I'm a big fan of random stats in games) :)
Thanks so much!!!
Since the new expansion, A and S ranks in 2.0 areas have started dying very fast because of large groups of players at 70 taking the fights on. This leads to the hunts dying so quick that not everyone present will get credit in time, and since Allied Seals are still valuable because of the new mount speed upgrades, it can be disappointing to be ready with a full party and see these major enemies melt down to nothing in mere seconds.
Is there any solution possible, so that Level 70 players can still amass in large groups to take on hunts and get something out of it, while still keeping it fair for players at Level 50 and 60?
Any ETA on a phone app for retrainers?
Can you increase incentive to use Minimum iLevel for dungeons by making it increase drop rates for Orchestrion Rolls, Triple Triad Cards and Minions? I know I'd definitely use it to fill out my Card Collection and Minion Log faster.
You have revealed several key Garlean characters using the Gunblade as a singular unique weapon, (Black Wolf, Nero) would you finally consider a Gunblade Job as the interim new job before 5.0 (I assume you will make a new healer and tank for 5.0)
Now that you have had a chance to see 3 sets of hunts and the impact it has on the community, can you change the hunt system so we don't have 500 players trying to kill and A rank and crashing the instance while I am just trying to play the game.. Thanks.
Can we please get some insight on if its possible to reduce the CD of Sprint while in Sanctuary areas?
Even with the addition of inventory space, players are forced to give up a significant amount of inventory/armoire/retainer space in order to store these articles of clothing/equipment.
Are there any immediate plans to rectify this issue with glamour and inventory space?
Now that Dragoon jumps are even more integral to the core mechanics of playing the job due to Mirage Dive building eyes, can you please get rid of the jump lock/lag that occurs when executing them? Having to hold them because attacks like Churning are hitting the floor and I can't afford to get locked to my position but needing to fire them off as soon as possible to get into Nastrond is extremely frustrating and throws the timing off of everything else if I have to wait on using them.
There's no more PS3 excuse as to why this cannot be implemented/changed and no other job has to worry about this type of thing happening to them. It's like Paralyzing yourself and the feeling is awful when you can't move and take damage from a mechanic that you could've easily avoided if the jump didn't freeze you in place for a moment.
Also, can we get into Nastrond 1 eye sooner and reduce Geirskogul to 30 secs please? It would help tremendously. Thanks!
1. DRG is the only job that has a job gauge with TWO time-decaying resources: Blood of the Dragon and sta cks of Dragon eyes. If we lose Blood of the Dragon, we lose all our our dragon eye stacks. Please let Dragon Eyes remain intact indefinitely until we die, zone, log out, or enter Life of the Dragon; similar to Chakra, Aetherflow, Ammo, etc. Phase transition are brutal on Dragoons, especially Susano and Yojimbo fights. Allow us to keep our eyes even if BotD falls off.
2. Allow Dragonfire Dive to grant "Dive Ready". This increases Dragoon's damage output a bit but more importantly reduces the time it takes for Dragoon to enter Life of the Dragoon from the start of the fight from about 70 seconds to 30 seconds.
3. Increase the RANGE OF ACTIVATION of Dragon Sight to 25'. This allows DRG to activate the ability from anywhere without being hampered. However, keep the RANGE OF EFFECT to 6', meaning the tethered player won't gain the bonus of 5% damage increase until they're within 6' of the Dragoon. Alternatively, remove the tether entirely and make it a strict buff to the targeted player regardless of their proximity.
Yoshi-P, what was your personal favorite dungeon introduced in the Stormblood expansion? Did you have a fight that you greatly enjoyed specifically?
