The reason it's only available in China is so that Gil sellers are more noticeable, apparently the bog standard lvl1 gear isn't getting them noticed enough and they are fed up with having to jump in the air every 10 seconds.

This is the first time I've seen this in an mmo, why do we have region locked outfits? Please don't start that SE... ; ; Make it available for everyone. Can you imagine if you deprived most of the world of the glory of the subligar? Come on now...

It's because the Chinese and Korean servers are separate from the JP/NA/EU servers we are on and aren't run by SE but by gaming companies from those countries. Plus, there's a lot of stuff that is region locked for them like seasonal events.

I may or may not pay for it...would prefer free in-game. Like some sort of event maybe? Or from a sidequest?
Just so that people can't buy them off the mog station and sell them for millions of gil in-game would be nice.

Not to mention, a great deal of their version is censored due to Chinese laws. They essentially have a gimped game. So this is almost like a gimme for them. Granted, I still want it because... it's so pretty. >.>

I would LOVE more Asian-inspired clothing in general. Like Indian, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese (because my girlfriend is one), Japanese, etc. I also thought that there could be more clothes in general from different parts of the world.

I would really like to see them not be on the Mogstation. Cash shops in subscription based MMOs shouldn't exist IMO.
I know it already does exist for FFXIV unfortunately, I just don't want every little thing to be added to it.

because Shanda Games is running the chinese servers, not SE.

This is great news! Now the only question is how long will it take, or if we will be getting any other region locked outfits they showed as well. Hope the Devs has learned a bit from all this.
