Show your tank glamour!

The Halonic Inquisitor's Sword had almost an identical coloring scheme which surprised me.

I do prefer the more "realistic" looking swords vs the "over the top" ones myself.

Took a long time and a lot of gil to get the mats to get an FC mate to make me this "Fray" set. It is what I've wanted sicen starting the DRK storyline.

I loved the red version of this set because it was a very pretty colour and was a cool change of pace, but I always planned on reverting to my old silver/white Lionliege set since it suited this character more.... albeit after getting my hands on the dyeable version, I find myself very satisfied with holding on to it instead, haha. I could even switch pack to my favourite shield and sword so it was a nice bonus.

Does it clip with your high allagan gears when the sword is not drawn?
It clips on mine (Midlander Hyur) and I'm sad it did.

While I can't quite use it yet and mostly using it as a place holder until I get to 60 and use my Blm to farm up gear for my Drk, this is my planned glamour for once I get geared. I'd love to use the Uraeus Coat that I have, but can't find any leg and feet pieces that would go perfect with it for a tank since my current look has leg and feet that are exclusive to Blm/Smn.

Hi, my name is Minf... I mean, er, Chloe. I'm a lowbie and this is my stream thumbnail. As you can see, I'm a tank who walks around in cloth robes with an exposed midriff that I use to block damages because everyone knows that the less armour you wear, the more damage you can take. Or something.

I love the look of the Gnath Thorax, the only thing that bothers me is the beetle shell on the back, but when my weapon is sheathed, the shield covers it up. I was trying to go for a wandering knight look and the tattered cape looks really cool. The hands/feet are Orthodox Fending and the sword/shield are Tyrgind and Svalin, all from Aery. The lv60 roulette gear (Dravanian) looks similar but has red leather highlights in at the joints that doesn't match with the green, luckily orthodox just has black leather in the joints.

I use something similar on my tanks but with a slightly more barbaric appearance using some of the sohm al pieces. My friends call me a murderhobo but I love the aesthetic. Cool to see someone else using it, I have the same misgivings about the shell on the back. it'd be *perfect* without that stupid shell >.<

Yes, it does look a lot sweeter in silver from my own experience, all the while opening avenues for more effective alternatives when glamouring (must get around to swap out a few pieces FOR SCIENCE -- rather, for fun). Red or black, on the contrary, should work best if you're combining them with Maelstrom pieces, with the original color scheme of the Allagan Coat, or if you want to mix Hellfire parts with Eso DRK gear.

But silver is just so shiny. And just about right for a Warrior of Light. Besides, it blends prettly nicely with the later (undyed) PLD Relic stages (230-240).
